That's interesting there's a door handle on the hatch and this is not complete glass from the looks of it. Look at the black laminate around the glass, it's not the same.

Rear hatch looks different from the one on the earlier one pp.21 (pic) and 22 (Sketch). So I am wondering which is correct?

Interesting. Looks like an India specific update. Maybe Honda was thinking along the same lines of our discussion here

Looking at older pics from the thread, the hatch has always had a handle. I agree with anshuman that the hatch is partly covered with something. The white on the hatch and the bumper have different shades.

Hatch also looks different because it is missing a spoiler.

Front- looks good more like a facelifted Jazz.
Rear - Weird, a Mix of Renault Clio & A star

Performance - Pretty quick till 100 kph. It touched 140 kph on a fairly open stretch while trying to run away from me.

Personally, I think the rear is an insult to the front! It has to be the ugliest behind I've ever seen. Looks like Honda retained their original designer for the front and gave a call to the guy who drew the Nissan Juke for the rear!! It looks like trousers falling off or something..

I wish they'd gone for a more sporty rear like the 2012 Kia Rio5 or even a classy one like the Polo instead of this abomination. Though I must say the large glass area should aid in reversing and parking.

These are just my opinion and I hope I didn't hurt anyone's sentiments.

Its the same hatch.
Its just that white sticker they put on new cars during shipping to prevent scratches.

Check post 314, you'll see the handle on the glass in the same spot.

Or maybe it's part of the camo! The all glass hatch attracts a lot of attention cuz there's nothing like it on indian roads. Either way, the sticker looks like an afterthought. Also, you can see the rubber beading on the top and sides but not d bottom. I think it's very unlikely that honda will put that into production.

I take that last bit back. It's not beading but looks like it on my tiny cell phone screen....

Its a sticker to disguise the look of the car.
As well as hide the honda emblem on the rear.
I like the detailing of the tail lights. They look rad.
It looks like the front grille emblem has been disguised in black to match the black grille.
While the rear emblem and large rear window has been masked in white to go with the body colour of the vehicle.

A better view of the Brio (is attached) that could see the sticker to make it look different!

Cheers!

This one may be a sticker/tape stuck on the lower half of the glass but I have a gut feel that when Brio is launched here, this is how it is going to look -with a modified hatch door.
