Advice on selling price of Swift VXi

Planning to sell my Swift VXi (Petrol).

June/2007, 22,000kms done. Insurance valid till June/2010, with one more year of manufacturer warranty left.

Additions from my side: 20k worth music system, Remote lock & Reverse parking sensor.

How much do you think i can expect to sell this for?

How much can we expect for this car? Its a single owner car.

Baleno---a good second hand choice?

Hi,
I am looking to buy a second hand car with the budget of 3-3.5L.

My requirements are:
1) Good rear seat comfort (2 senior citenzes and 2 infants are there in my family).
2) Acceptable FE.
3) My driving would be max 1200Km per month so i think petrol mills are ok for me.

Looking at the forum posts it looks like OHC Vtec and Baleno are the best VFM in the C-segment for second-hand. But in bangalore getting a vtec within this bracket seems to be very difficult. This leaves out Baleno as a more practical choice. There are a number of Baleno listed on carwale which are in the budget.
a) I need your opinion on whether 2006 Lxi trim of Baleno better than 2003-2004 Vxi assuming both having done about 40k KMs. They both are going about 3L.
b) Also am concerned about the spare part costs of this car. Somewhere i read the rear lights, if they have to be replaced, would offset the pocket by 20k. Is that true?
c) Would the resale value of this car will do lot more downhill in 3-4 years time from now or can i expect a decent return?
I see a few OHC VTEC listed in Chennai for about 3.5L though am not sure of their condition. They all have done above 60K KMs. If they are worth it compared to Baleno in terms cost of ownership and resale value i may even consider getting them from Chennai.
help me decide on this....

Aug 2008 Palio SDX

I'm relocating out of the Country & thus have to sell my Palio SDX which I bought in August last year. It is very painful to part with my car but I have no choice, since keeping it would mean continuing to pay the EMI without the pleasure of driving it.

It has run 14200 Kms, second service is due shortly & is very well maintained. Very clean inside with additional carpeting as well as beige interiors. No accidents & insurance was renewed on the 13th of this month, is thus insured till Aug next year.

Would need suggestions on what price should I quote for this, please help.

This shouldn't cost more than 3.7 to 3.9 L depending on the condition of the car. 4.9 L is way to high that too it is a second owner car. ALso note that the car is now discontinued by Hyundai.

You can get about 2.8 to 2.9L if the car is in excellent condition.

I had to let it go - Mr Hariprasad estimated the repairs at sub 25K but there was one key thing that showed that the car had been maintained badly.

The mount for the timing belt cover (plastic) was broken - showing that the timing belt had been messed around with by someone who didn't know palio's very well. Mr. Hariprasad told me that finding a (spare) new/used timing belt cover was impossible.

That car should still be available with Mahindra First Choice @ HSR. I had negotiated the price down to Rs 1.3 L before I found out about the timing belt cover.

I'm still looking for a Palio 1.6
