All fine and good but the thing with Veyron is not just that magic mark of 400kmph or 1000BHP but it is much more than that

First of all it is as luxurious as any Executive Car.
On winding roads it handles like a LOTUS car should.
Also don't forget teh way Veyron puts the power down.
You can let McLarenF1 go upto 120 mph & still beat it to 200mph in Veyron
(source: Top Gear)

I don't think Koenigsegg can top that

There's still nothing greater than the F1.

Well there are quite a few cars which could beat the Veyron.

Now you have to decide which car you are talking about Production or Non Production.

P.S Does not the Zonda Use a AMG engine?

TG/AC- A Vauxhall Callibra produces 1400 bhp, I think 0-100 is about 1.3 secs.

Again TG/AC - Skyline GTR's can be tuned upto 1500 bhp.

But can they tackle the corner like Veyron does?
Will these cars run at same power for 15/20 years?
I highly doubt it.
And then there are looks.
By Vauxhall Callibra you must be talking about car in this article
Not really car you wanna take to a social event!

The Veyron was only an experimental car...just a one-off production. Hope they make it a production model (though that sounds really far fetched)...so it can't be the world's fastest car.

The Koeniggsegg CCR currebtly holds the record...edging out the beautiful McLaren F1 by a mere 1 mph...Damn....

No babe (that sounds nice )
In fact I read recently that they're soon gonna introduce the Veyron for sale in India for about 10 - 12 cr !!
So I deduce that it is already in production.
