Ferrari complete a 1-2!! Massa wins, Kimi takes 2nd. This was because Kimi lost 20 odd seconds due to some loose exhaust pipe.

Best part of the day is that Trulli takes thiurd. Kovalainen takes 4th after starting from 10th. Hamilton didnt score!! Yay!!

Great run by Massa and a new leader emerges now in the Driver championships and definitely this year too it will go down the wire until the last race according to the results in every race.

@ abhijitaparadh :As for Hamilton he was carrying forward the 10 place penalty on the starting grid for his pit lane misdemeanor in the previous race @ Canada.

Trulli's fight with Heiki almost culminating in a mess for both of them until the last lap was just a beauty with Toyota getting better of McLaren.

A Fantastic race and a well deserved 1-2 for Ferrari. A mature drive by Massa and Mr cool Kimi nursed his car well to the finish line. 18 very important point for Ferrari and the drivers. But the drive of the day was Jarno Trulli for me. He drove an amazing race to get onto the podium. The racing between him and Heiki was great to watch. Trulli showed his vast experience when it mattered and drove well inspite of his rear tyres losing traction in the last half of the race.

Hamilton seems to have a share of rotten luck but the we are still mid - season so Silverstone should be interesting.

great drive from Felipe and Kimi. Only hope they dont have to change the engine on Kimi's car for the British GP. Happening which he loses 10 places on the grid and misses a valuable chance to make it to the podium.

However a Ferrari 1-2 always feels good.

Cheers cheers:

The highlight of the race was Trulli managing a podium finish. Whatta drive!! I didn't expect the Toyota to display such impressive race pace. The fight with Kovi in the final stages was to die for. Trulli spoke about how he loves such battles, and thats what racing is all about.

Kimi was looking pretty dejected on the podium and in the post-race interview. He's actually lucky that he finished in the first place....the Ferrari's body was totally burnt out!

They might just have to.

But in the end, these 8 points might prove the most valuable for Kimi. Massa was race winner, but Trulli won our hearts with that splendid drive. Bravo!

Yes Kimi will be going for the change but will not get a penalty. It seems there is a point in the rules that you can change the engine once in the season without getting a penalty. Ferrari are looking to use that option at Silverstone.

Kimi finished second and not first. It commedable that even after having problem he managed that second spot on podium.

That is not what GTO meant.

What he means is that Kimi should be thankful that, at least he finished the race with burned body work on the Ferrari.

I think it was after a long time that we have had only one retirement in the entire race.

Nice race! Too bad that Kimi lost out on the win which was certain but heck 2nd place was not bad either. I was just hoping that nothing should go wrong, otherwise it would have been Kimi's 3 retirements on the trot. But he was lucky enough to finish. Ferrari's initial pace which opened up a huge lead saved Kimi.
Fantastic drive by Trulli. He was out there to prove a point. It was the same track where he lost his drive for Renault to a last corner fiasco.

So GTO meant that " In the first place Kimi managed to finish the race despite the damage " . Correct ?

Sorry for misunderstanding.
