Fisi is really shining in his role as elder driver at Force India.

Unfortunately, poor Sutil might not have a race seat next year if he keeps crashing on the first lap at races. He talked a lot about how being competitive with Fisi this year would open up more opportunities for him next season. It's not looking good for him.

This might open the door for K.Chandok next season, who finished 10th at the Spain GP2 this morning, I think.

If i am not wrong, Fisi was penalised 3 slots for taking on the friday practise when the lights were still red. Its bad for Force India but i hope Fisi fights back just as he always does.

YIPPEE !!

Massa wins to record a hatrick of wins at the circuit.

Hamilton fights hard for his 2nd place and Kimi takes a lacklustre 3rd place.

But the driver of the day has to be Heikki Kovalainen. what a drive from him !! It was really entertaining to watch him !!

Great win by Massa & Ferrari!

Mclaren's strategy for Hamilton went horribly wrong, and Ferrari was quick to pounce on the opportunity!

Wished Kimi passed thru Hamilton, but is quite difficult at the top level!

Its nice to have a full time A1 driver as a commentator.
Alex yoong could fill up a lot of voids we spectators have and talks from the POV of a racing driver in the race. It would be awesome if this continues.

A good show by Ferrari & Massa, it would have been still great if it was 1-2 Ferrari finish.

Monaco Grand Prix 2008 thread

The most glamorous Grand Prix of the season is around the corner. So lets get started with all the predictions and praises and criticisms as we do every time.

The Thursday practice 2 results are already out, and Lewis Hamilton is topping the time-sheets, followed by Nico Rosberg and Kimi Raikkonen.
The Official Formula 1 Website

Based on Hamilton's (and McLaren's) performance in the season so far, I think he has a very good chance of clinching this one. Might do a Grand Slam too (qualifying first, race win and fastest lap).
But I'm also quite impressed with Massa especially in the last couple of races, but he has never particularly been strong in Monaco.

And who can forget Kubica's unstoppable pace and BMW's fabulous machine.

We might get to see a few surprises in Monaco as well, like previous years, and I think Trulli (and Toyota) and Webber might be some of them.

Anyway, my race predictions are:
  1. Lewis Hamilton
  2. Kimi Raikkonen
  3. Robert Kubica

Wow. An all Ferrari front row with Hamilton in third wasn't what I had expected before. I am actually impressed by Massa's pace although he might be running a bit lighter on fuel than the McLarens.

And did you see Rosberg on that track? He sure was impressive, especially in Q1 and Q2. Don't know what suddenly happened to him in Monte Carlo.

Anyway looking forward to the race tomorrow, I think Ferrari might clinch it this time as well, unless Hamilton manages to run a little bit longer than Massa and Hamilton before the pit stops.

And Force India's Fisichella had a 5 position penalty because of a gearbox change before so he was going to start from the last row anyway, even though he qualified last.

Hamilton was on fire and he truly deserved to win.

But my heart goes out to Sutil, not so much for Mallya though.

Oh what a heart break, and the first time I cursed Ferrari. Raikonnen was acting a bully after the safety car and one could sense something bad was coming, and good for him that he missed out on the points.

Adrian Sutil the tragic hero in a definitely action packed Monaco F1.
