Your Car looks great Jaggu, my 2 week car doesnt shine this much

Where did you do this diesel wash(By the way what is diesel wash?) and body wax? is it 3M one? I read in one of your post, you done that before. I would like to do it for my car. Can you give some details?

Thanks for the Audio reference, I installed ICE!, car rocks now, though a big hole in pocket!!.

You have three options:

1. Customer Care Number.
2. Maruti website(May need two posting, 2nd one with 'Reminder' in Subject line!)
3. Dealer EMail

I had tried all the three, time to time, and it works great. All the best.

The job was done by Sai colorium JP Nagar, this was selected by Rudra from their color chart. My idea was more darker full copper with brushed look which was overruled by the old man

EDIT: I dont know the name of the shade, its code that they use and lips are not chrome, its just silver

Diesel i buy from pump and wiper/wash with own hands. No 3M job since last update, this was just regular waxing and machine buff (i assume) by Sai again. Otherwise I apply regular wax polish every 2 months or so, again done by myself or by Rudra's person.

3M job i really wouldnt recommend for a brand new car, instead do it by 1st or 2nd year. Your car requires a nice coat of wax and please donot rub or go for complete rubbing/polishing. Only waxing.

So tell us more about the ICE upgrade? how much did you burn?

Interesting rims

Jaggu did you use the service of a station/garage for the waxing?

In the past few month my ride has collected a lot of small nicks and scrapes thanks to BLR 2 wheelers.

Need a complete detailing, Mohans service was supposed to restart this month but no news.

@raj: No issues with the clutch mishap, you can ignore it and avoid this in future thats all

@s0uljah: Regular waxing as i said is done by me, but this time i had some pending paint jobs for the front quarter, so did the polishing along with it. Head out to Sai Colorium or get a 3M detailing job done.

Thanks Jman.

December will make it 2 years & Iv not had a polish job done till date! So think it is time to goto 3M

BTW, met Sachin @ NEXUS today. I had a niggling issue with suspension that he checked at rectified for free. Small but efficient MASS it seems likes.

Will goto them form my 20k service shortly and report back.

MASS is charging 550-600 rs for De-carbonising of the engine and Rs450 for an additive which they use along with engine oil.Is it worthwhile doing it?40k service is due. They have also quoted rs 750 for cleaning of ERP(Hope i got it right!)

ERG cleaning i suppose, yeah its a pain to access the part. If you do regular long trips you might want to skip this. If you drive in stop and go city traffic mostly, might be worth it coz the soot would have settled in a bit on the turbo side.

Decarb am not sure what they do, understand what it is all about and then decide to do it, if its just passing some cleaning fluid along with fuel, totally not worth it.

Engine oil additive is ok since we use mineral oils. OWS and 3M are other major brands providing these additives.

Today I have been to Sai colorium, struggled to find out, since it shown near to main road on google map, but it is far inside!.

Asked for Waxing, and they said, it will cost 1500/-, and will be doing using machine? Anyway I thought to decide later.

On Saturday, Car is going in for 40k service(oddo is on 41k).I want to get the radiator clean, is ther any fixed period after which one needs to get it done.I will be sticking to normal jobs like:-Oil filter n air filter change,3.1ltrs mobile delvac.Brake bleeding n cleaning, engine oil flush, engine oil additive and few other small job.
Last service was done at 33k. I have a feel(I may be wrong)that engine has become bit louder then it use to be.I wish I was specific, while writing this statement.Any pointers to check for this cause.Should I get the turbo/intercooler cleaned?(The car is running fine though)It's never been done till date.
