BTW, is it a 4x4 ? |
A 4*4 comes with alloy wheels.
The phots show standard sheet metal wheel rims.
A belated congratulations.
Welcome to the Safari Club.
Lucky you - getting Alpine instead of Blau. Have fun and drive safe.:thumbs up
P.S: Please post your experiences, FE etc soon.

VX too comes with alloys 4x4 or not.
Thanks for the wishes guys.
Another comparsion:
Santro :
: Driver/front seat are good.
:Getting in and out is a breeze especially for Seniors and average build people.
:Knee touches centre console :(
:View is great from the driver point of view
:Passengers at rear to get a good view of the road ahead as they sit a bit higher than small hatches.
Safari:
: Should I say anything about its seats? EX and VX gets height adjustable ones and I think for EX its just for driver. Great thing.
: Lumbar support is feature is great! Would this be costly to add?
: Mahout :)
: By default you hand gets the height adjuster. You need to practice where the other lever is for adjusting the incline.
: has hand rests!!!
congrats JK on aquiring the BEAR
The rear view cam with a screen is definately a good add on and very useful. I got one a couple of weeks back, definately much better than using sensors, though sensors would be good for the front bumpers.
JK bro, just got married and your family is getting bigger so fast !!!!Hmmm.....
Congrats!

Add to what? Your Santro?
Contratulations JK!! Enjoy the beast!!
Drive safely. It is easy to cross the line with the powerful beast.
KV
@jk- do you find the forward visibility better in the santro than the safari?
i found the safari to have excellent visibility. probably the best SUV for the city traffic. it was very easy to judge the width. I'm still not confident with the endeavour(width judging)
and you are right about body roll. on short test drives it is frightening. once you get used to it, its as good as any average sedan(note I said Average) :)
Woooah another beast on the prowl!! Congratz and i love the color on the safari :)
Paparayathinal, kuratchu save cheyu for that thadiyan dayaru's and alloys.

adiyan!
Ok just a word of caution, while you zig zag, keep in mind beast is taller and heavier than your previous tall boy.
Reason why i post is, just now while returning from office, saw a safari virtually loosing it on the I R R turn (in bangalore), he was trying zig zags and a cabie cut. Rather scary watching this from behind.
Weight and height needs time to get used to, is my humble thought. Enjoy the drive and congratulations on your purchase again.
@Jk- where you travelling south towards cherthala on good friday afternoon? thought i saw you near thottapally!
