well now come to think of it good but i would have loved to see some install pics of the engine, shortshifter - i dont know why but teambhp just keeps on giving me ideas one after the other.

I would also love to see the images of the ICE.

@razor : have you planned something for the interior!

@BUSA: Thanks dude!

@xinome: I did put up some pics of the engine install (though not the actual mounting of it). Shortshifter will be fitted after the running in. Since the engine is overhauled and the clutch is new I thought I'd bed them in first before adding another variable!

ICE pics will be uploaded soon. Let me get the car back tomorrow!

Interiors? Hell yeah man! Wait for the pics... you'll see

Short shifter's from the same place as yours - Speedworks. How's it behaving now? I remember you had some trouble with it initially. Is it as nice as they say it is? Read somewhere that once you get used to a short shifter, you never go back to the regular shifter!

Car delivery is for tomorrow, barring any unforseen complications.
Pics soon.

Things that will be fitted later:
- Short Shifter
- Tri Phase module
- Ractive air filter + intake pipe (after fabricating a heat shield)
- Pedders suspension
- Tweeters for the front component speakers

Good that tri-phase is going to make it in later, you can post before and after times! We have had many posts in this regard that it has increased performance, but not much real data!

Phoenix has risen

Phoenix is here.
The project was conceptualized waaay back in April, and was realized today. To say that it's been challenging is an understatement. Anyone who knows about this project knows that. But seeing the car today has made it all worth while

There are still quite a few kinks to iron out. But the main part of the work is done. Baaki ho jayega!

Took delivery a few hours later than originally scheduled, so didn't get the light needed to take some good pics. My digicam is, at best decent, and night pics are nothing to write home about. So will do the honours tomorrow.
In short, she is looking AMAZING!! I have deliberately kept it simple yet sophisticated. The paintjob is awesome, the rims and tyres are complementing the car perfectly and the interiors are just as I wanted them. Looking forward to taking some good pics!

Regarding the driveability and the performance... I need to get some sensors sorted out at HM, and things should be cool after that. It's pretty nice even now. The FFE is pretty silent... almost a stealth install! But I guess it gets a little more vocal above 3000 rpm, which has been my rev limit until now. The running-in period will test my patience....

The Michelin Pilot Preceda 2 tyres seem promising, but will know more about them when I get to push the car a bit more.

More updates soon....
