Saw your album . I think your alto's color is pearl silver right . Anyway check out the whole thread . abhibh would have posted links of league alloys and hr&hijoin alloys . Check them out .

And here are some other links :
http://www.auraalloywheels.com/- Aura Alloy Wheels
intro-Alloy Wheels India

AlloyWheelsIndia has got various collections although most manufacturers dont have many designs in 5J . You can get your alloys painted black after you get them . This should suit your alto's color .

32-36thousand . Well I'd instead get myself a good set of rubber and alloys and some performance mods instead of that body kit . Stupid me . I was thinking it would be somewhere around 15-20k . These guys should be . They're asking a ransom .

Hey guys I am looking to replace my stock air filter with either a cold air intake or universal filter . Many people are saying that k&n is more hyped so its costly and are suggesting some other brands like pipercross , green cotton and ractive . I'm basically on the look out for a CAI (cold air intake) so please suggest me the best one among these brands i.e, K&N , Pipercross , Ractive & Green Cotton . Please tell me where I can get them in Chennai and their cost .

First of all can a cold air intake be fitted in an Alto ??

@kaush666: For K&N filters check here : Methods Car Parts and Car Accessories Online Shop and Distributors in Bangalore India, K&N Performance Filters, Sparco Motorsport Accessories

you can also checkout Electra Performance welcomes you

Yes, CAI can be fitted in the alto. Regarding the airfilter, dont go for pipercross because afaik pipercross uses steel wool for filtering which is not good for a daily city driven car(only good for drags) so try getting K&N or Green cotton. If you want go for a CAI, then i would suggest K&N Apollo or Green Wind.

i have already ordered pipercross's venom induction kit for my alto 0.8L. it comes with almost all kinds of plumbing and fittings. i really like the looks and it is really very light in weight.
here is the pic .
i will have the install done on my next weekend. and keep you guys posted.

i dont think it will be expensive to install it.. as it comes with 70% of the fittings. so this means less custom fitings etc. and the best thig about this filter is it is covered and will not suck hot air from the engine bay if the filter's pipe is holding the right position.
the filter cost is Rs.9300 may be +500 for the installation.

Is it a CAI or is it a normal one with the pipe , plumbing designed in a way such that it does not suck in hot air from the engine bay ?? And Rs.9300 for this i think is way too high. AFAIK a K&N Appollo CAI itslef is less than 8k + Labour . Correct me if I am wrong guys
