I didn't see anyone specifying about ZEN D over here. I am planning to get some mods done to my ZEND. So what all can i do to get more performance on the diesel engine. Installing turbo is not advised since it can affect the engine. What else can be done? without much affect in FE. My ZEN-D's current FE is 24-26 on H/w and 18-20 at City. The car has now done around 1L KM. Still going STRONG. All suggestion are welcomed.

Also one more question. I am planing to work my ZEN-D's suspension . I want to overhaul it. What is to be done for this? What kind of overhauling actually is done to suspension? How much can that cost? And does anyone know who can do this properly in Trivandrum.
hey No one here owns a ZEN diesel. I am not getting any input from anyone...

Car looks Great. Except for that RUBBISH number plate, which is illegal BTW.

God alone knows when I will be able to get my hands on my very own Zen. Have wanted one for years now as a Project car.

Well actually even I am of that opinion & hence my ACCENT has legal number plate.

Apart from this there is one more modification still pending. I have asked for Plain white & my friend did it Pearl White, so I am getting both things changes the number plate & the colour.
But I guess that will take another month. As me my friend (Who did this job) came to a conclusion that now since the car is painted lets use it for 6 months & then change it.

I am looking for a clean stalk gear knob but, unfortunately I am not getting any. Few places I found look alike but they are of very poor quality.

I asked at MSS but they are offering me SWIFT round one, which looks completely odd. Please let me if anywhere I could get a decent gear knob.

I got this one for 250 (At that time I had wooden dash console in mind) now last option is I put the one with leather coating.

And just for the record, I checked with RTO, writing in MARATHI is allowed by the time the car is in MAHARASHTRA, but for going to other states it requires MH. So it’s legal.

No I havent installed an amp . The sound and the performance is really good ,atleast more than what I had expected . The best thing that I feel in this is its clarity and depth . I could feel the same in both the ' techno ' musics as well as in classic rocks . Though I had plans of installing an AMP , I dont feel the need atleast as of now :-)

Rear Co-axials are GTO 937 , and the components are GTO 608 C

Thanks recshenoy for the compliments .
The alloys and accelere tyres ( 4 each ) came upto a little over 20k .
Its almost over 5/6 months since I did the upgrade , not so sure about the current price .
I have filled nitrogen in the tyres after the upgrade and it has treated the car well till now

Hey Zen-experts, I am in need of you help again.

I recently got a Race-Tech 4in1 Tachometer (RTTA4in1) for my Zen (old shape). The Tachometer works great and looks even better (or may be its the other way around). However, the place i got it installed from got only the RPM Meter and the Voltage Indicator working. The Water Temp and the Oil Pressure is was not connected as it was a much more complex process.

I spoke to my MASS guys and they are ready to it if I can get a Wiring/Connection Diagram for this Tachometer. I searched the web quite a bit but was unable to find anything relevant. Can someone with expierance on these gauges please help me with this . Can someone please gimme hints on how to get it working for Water Temp and Oil gauge with some diagram that i can share with the MASS Mechs. I bought it from a fellow Bhpian and there was no install guide that i got on my purchase.

I'll post the pics once i have it all working.
