I changed my Ford 2000 stock H4 bulbs (Phoneix stuff, no idea from they come from) to Osram SS 50+ first by retaining one stock to check the improvement in the visibility and found amazed by the difference and spread of light.

later I changed the other bulb to Phillips Rally 100/90 by retaining the Osram SS 50+ and was zapped by the immense light and power. So, asked the guy to put Phillips Rally on both sides. Now I feel very confident even at low beams as the spread is good and I could see clearly even if someone comes in high beam from opposite.

Next Steps:

I have decided to put Osram SS 50+ to my Dicor, will update once done.

bye for now

All Dicor Owners--Osram SS 50+ is better than stock bulbs

hi suman and all other Dicor Owners

i have tried Osram Silverstart 50+ in place of the stock Philips H4 bulbs in headlight

and the difference is noticeable and i believe there is at least 30+ % increase in light and i'm happy about it

throw and spread is better and all u need is to fit the tube and adjust the throw as per need

no relay/cutout is needed as the bulbs is 60/55

and it retails between 300Rs-350Rs for pair depending on the stockist.

hope it helps

Hi
I was thibking of installing either 130/100 or 100/90 in my dicor(expected in a week) for the main headlights. I think that a relay/ cutout will be needed as the power is high.
have you even changed the fog light bulbs. How is the light of the company provided fog lamps. Is it worth changing.
Please advise...

simple bro, just buy Xenon HIDs from some good company like philips. the bulb size would be H4. make sure you get 6000k xenons.

ot - you have an a6 3.2? ive driven one and its mighty quick.

Sandeep, thanks! I took the plunge on Friday too & got them fitted on Saturday.

Guys, as Sandeep says, there is definitely an improvement because the spread of the beam is better. I will check them out on some of the really dark stretches that I use (where I felt the need for better illumination) and re-confirm. By the way, the OE on the Dicor are Philips H4 in case any of you were wondering.

Brighter tail lights!? Why?
Already on highways I see so many people driving with rear fog lights on and blinding following traffic.

here u go Horsepower, forwarding the info which Suman sent to me regarding the bulb.

There's one called NEW JAIN SPARES and they have the 60/55s in stock - their numbers are 23967335 & 23974335. Their address is 2778/20 Bhatnagar Building, Kashmere Gate.

The other one was SURI ENTERPRISES, 824B Tilak Street, Chota Bazaar, Mobile number 9899633500 (Gautam Suri) but he didn't have them in stock.
