Also known as C Spanners/ C Wrenches.
Comes in both adjustable and fixed sizes.

I scoured the length and breadth of Karol Bagh last weekend but no luck (you had to see the faces of gutkha chewing uncles when I asked them if they had a Hook spanner.
Measure the OD of the nut.
Take a picture of the C Spanner when you go shopping.

Congrats nitninja! In addition to the things you stated, the clutch should also feel lighter than older dukes. Happy riding

Duke 390 sure does. Mine had one under the seat - the detachable one.

There is nothing as comfortable to take the twisties like an RC
In terms of handling Rc is much better than duke 390, infact it feels more connected to the rider but lacks on comfort. stiffer suspension, sporty seating position, brilliant frame etc ensures that corners are taken with ease. A beginner can scrape the foot pegs in a Rc easier than in duke. I would give 10/10 for Rc whereas duke would get 8/10 . This should give you an idea about handling department. From my experience stiff suspension breaks the spine everyime the bike goes over a pothole even when the spring(rear) was set to the softest setting.Eventually i ended up having very bad shoulder and neck pain after every ride.I tried various seating positions, youtube videos were looked but i felt only a mild improvement.Rc headlamps deserve a word, it's just fabulous. It lits the road ahead that cruising at 100 kmph is just a piece of cake.If only my body condition were a bit better, my choice would be a Rc.

Are the stator coil output of Rc and duke the same ? The reason im asking is Rc can support 110 watts for headlight whereas duke runs on 55 watts. The additional output can be really useful for running those extra lights.

I did google the pics right there for the shopkeepers to see but no luck. Same bewildered look everywhere

Anyhow, finally ordered one today, Size 68-75 mm. Got this number after some pretty impressive detective work

Zoomed in on barca's ebay link pic and voilą, saw the same printed on the handle

On the adjustable thing - those r usually expensive and general consensus on multiple forums is to avoid them like the plague. Reason - they simply lack the grip that a fixed one does, leading to a lot of frustration, wasted time, scratched bike and sometime human parts

Adjustable:- the hooked portion is hinged. OK if you use it for the upper end of its range. Important thing is that it should be well made.
One thing I've always wondered is why the adjustable ones do not have a leaf spring, or some sort of locking mechanism to prevent travel of the hooked end.

Anyway, great that you have found what you want.

Actually i am bored with naked and ok to go through the pain. I know exactly what you are saying but the naked stops at a point where riding gets difficult with the wind. On those highways i prefer the racer position simply because its much more comfortable cutting through the wind and less on fatigue for body.Wind is the biggest enemy for sapping energy during long rides. Even with a proper wind shield it gets very difficult. Its good to see this perspective because i am actually bored with Naked bikes and want to try the sports version.

I am completely aware of its limitation specifically on shoulders, back elbow and knees while at the same time i am excited that riding will be super fun to scrape those knees or atleast hoping.

Congrats on the D390!

Could you please let us know if you can feel any reduction in wind blast due to the windshield

Folks, any idea where can I get the big windscreen for D390 in Bangalore. I have been seeing them on Ali Express with free shipping to India.

We should do this in Bangalore ...

Seems like a nice way to have fun, get some skills without endangering anyone.

Let us do a parking lot cone course, with timed laps like this

BTW, want that crash bar kit with slider points!

Sorry - the entire thing is a misunderstanding from my end. THought you were saying kit was not there on your 390. You are talking about C spanner thing. Never seen it.
