Dealer is clueless as there is no communication from RE.

Has anyone put any third party leg guard and pillion back rest?
Welcome to RE customer service experience, I had ordered pillion back rest on 16th Jan the day the bike was unveiled and nobody has any clue when I will get it, there are 3-4 vendors who have made it available and have listed below :

1. BS Motors from Mumbai
2. Zana
3.Autoengina from Pune
4. Some blue bike in Gujrat has one installed

I like the looks from RE and hence waiting, I am leaning now towards the sis-bar from Autoengina, the final call will be taken from my pillion.

That is something that makes me feel sad, I still cannot convince myself of a future of all-electric and no manual transmissions.

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

I went yesterday to check on my SM650 booking and was told that mine will be delivered by month's end. I was also informed that if needed there is an Astral green and an Interstellar grey readily available. Since I was firm on the Interstellar green I passed it on. This is at the Banashankari showroom, in Bangalore. So anybody interested please do visit and contact Praveen.

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

I am planning for a bike cover for my Super meteor 650 tourer version.
Anyone on the group is using any ?

Though I have a covered parking, within a day or 2 road dust settles on the vehicle. To avoid the dust on days when I am not using, I plan tou use a good quality bike cover.

I could not try the royal enfield bike cover as it was not in stock with them.

Anyone using please do post some pics and views on the same.
Any other alternative someone using can also be shared.

Thanks

Try RAIDA from Amazon, the one for interceptor 650 will fit the super meteor 650 also

I am not a fan of buying from Amazon as they may be standard size and not quite fit our bike.seller’s just add every bike name against same cover mostly.
And I don’t like being a critic and posting negative comment as mine rarely gets posted there.

Hence thought to post here ,if anyone using then can help .

Oh! Those are the only 2 colors of SM650 I don't like . Otherwise I would have tried my luck. Thanks for the info and congratulations on your bike

I own an interceptor and super meteor and I'm using the same raida cover for both my motorcycles, that is why i suggested you to go for it.
