Yam claim that FZ'll do the best 0-60kmph run in its class.
(did Yamaha consider RTR in this class? Your guess is as good as mine...)
With jus 14 ponies (@126kg should save same grace) and big footprints if it can do it, then heck even if it's a Crux engine blown out.
TDs should give some idea. But, a Yam TD? Where?

what are you talking about? dont you know that Yamaha bikes are in a class of their own? Their so called top of the line bikes R15 and FZ16 have no TD You just look/feel it and you book it

Can someone update me (if possible) the list of dealers in Mumbai. I checked the website and it is showing only a couple of dealers for Mumbai which I feel is incorrect.

Thanks

People who cant afford or find R15 too funky etc now have a beautiful cheaper option.

Think we should appreciate Yamaha here unlike selling us glamourous shiny hunky old wine in new bottle stuff.

my first look at the FZ 16

Hi All,

Had been to Pacer Motors Banglore to see the FZ 16 in flesh this morning..
the bike looks very macho and bulky..Kiran the guy at the showroom was very friendly and co-operative and answred the million questions that i had..the showroom had only one black FZ 16 on display for which Kiran (showroom guy) did not have the keys even..wanted to hear the exhaust note..
The good thing about the bike is the muscular/macho looks and the meaty rear tire and the fuel tank. the turn off is the LCD speedo which looks a bit overdone..that is all that i could gather today and Kiran asked me to come on sat so that he could give me the complete overview along with the engine specs and by then he told me that he would have the key to the bike and would also arrange for a under the table TD

Hey guys, anyone observed that the peak power comes @7500rpm instead of Pulsars where peak power comes at 8500rpm.

There are rumours that the engine in this one is the same as the R15 minus the fuel injection and the water cooling.

The tyres on this one are simply awesome. The Pulsar rear tyre is the front tyre and the rear tyre is wider than the Avenger tyre. Simply awesome!!!

The FZ16 according to Zigwheels would wake up Honda and force it to bring better capacity machines into the country.

I cant imagine why they would put 20-25 bhp, with these kind of petrol prices.

Well, how many bought Pulsar 180 compared to 150 ?
One thing they could do is offer a 25bhp one as well as 14 bhp one. They also have to meet emissions, maybe hitting 25bhp needs fuel injection, and more costs?
