what is the ORP in hyderabad?
Thank you buddy. The salesman said it would take 45 days but on insisting he said the bike might be delivered in 20-25 days too as our booking is in the first booking list. It could have been first booking but due to communication gap on their part it got delayed.

The booking amount was 1k(non refundable in case of cancellation) and ORP in hyderabad is 74k. Down payment would be 30k in our case.

A detailed first impression will be given in a seperate thread.

You are wrong.
We decide on Orange(for the uniqueness). Black and Red is a common color in other bikes while this orange is unique.

well 25 days is a good news, but they refuse to mention it officially but 45 days is still its better than 90days for honda shine (....lol.... what are they making? a plane?)

I have seen the bike in flesh today. The bike looks beefy and muscular. A perfect street bike. Loved the tyres and the look of the bike.

Regardin the color, I got to know one very interesting point. You can change the color of the bike by just spending 1800 bucks. Except the tank scoops and front mudguard, the rest of the bike is same for all the three colors. All these panels just cost 1800 bucks. Change these panels with the color that you want and enjoy.

Needs a 200cc engine, at least.

I eagerly await for people to "mod" this bike with skinnier rear tire which will improve the performance and perhaps handling too.

I agree it needs a better engine!

But I find the comment on skinnier tire funny - When R15 was launched with a thin tire, people went overboard complaining how thin the tire was and how it was spoiling the looks and may affect handling / performance. Now, when they add a big tire in FZ16, we now complain of having a big tire and plan to reduce it to improve handling / performance

Obelix would tap his head and say 'These TBHPians are crazy'

Still me buying it is unconfirmed! But will definitely post if I do go for it.

Saw a review of FZ16 on Aaj Tak . The reviewer (please don't ask who!) rated the bike 8/10 overall and believes the Pulsar/Apache/Hunk gang has serious competition.
He also expected the bike to deliver around 50-52kmpl in real world conditions.
I'd be happy even if it gives around 45+ kmpl with those fat footwear.

@ ravi
Nice information dude.

Seeing all the gushing posts here I think Yamaha have hit the bullseye in this market, FINALLY. They've realized that you dont really need fast bikes to sell in India - you need fast-looking bikes with the same old engines.
