Re: Tata Bolt 1.2L Revotron : Official Review

Updates on Bolt RT ownership:
1. 2nd servicing done at 12631 KM
- Usual oil changes
- SA noted a faint noise from the steering (I never realized it, it was that faint) and fixed it (lubrication sufficed)
- Billed Rs 2800/- as I don't have an AMC

2. Went on a long drive 2 days later
- Covered 265 KMs and overall FE of 16.9
- All travel was during day time with roughly 60 KMs in the ghats of Lonavala

SA insisted that early oil change was not required and I could have driven the vehicle for atleast 2000 km more before the servicing. Still going ahead, I am planning to get the oil changed at 7.5k KM and servicing at the usual 15k KM break. Better be cautious than sorry. Further, I also noticed a marked improvement in terms of customer handling at the service centre. Tata surely is breathing on their necks on this front.

Red XT. They are taking my Nano for a good price and apart from that close to 1 Lakh discount. OTR will be around 6 or 6.2 lakhs. They also have 3 white XT models from Jan 2015 stock. FYI

Re: Tata Bolt 1.2L Revotron : Official Review

Does your OTR include what you are getting for the Nano?I got my Dune Beige XT (petrol) manufactured Jan 2015 in Oct 2015 for approx 5.75 lakh OTR. Road tax might be a lot less in Delhi, though. Gives me about 13km/l but then I don't drive in peak hours. Gave me about 21km/l on the Yamuna Expressway. Is a great car but has the usual niggling issues associated with Tata vehicle...odd sounds, a sticky gear shift, OAT temp sensor giving funny readings etc. If you are getting a Dec 2014 model, get the tyres and battery changed. The dealers willl refer back to the company and get approval.

Re: Tata Bolt 1.2L Revotron : Official Review

Nope. The thing is they are offering 2.6L for my nano ( 3 months old). It will clear the outstanding loan. I am just exploring since the dealer talked to me about it. Not yet decided.

Concorde motors Dairy circle. Planning to buy one? OTR without discounts for XT is 7.8 (Incl AMC & Extended warranty). 1 lakh is the initial discount offered. Negotiate and get more

Is that 6.8 or 7.8? OTR in Delhi without discounts is about 6.9 (inl. Gold Plan of 16k)

Re: Tata Bolt 1.2L Revotron : Official Review

Tata should revise the bolt's price (like Maruti did with S-cross) to improve the sales.I hope a competive price + 333AMC +standard alloy wheels right from base variant (Tata provided them initially) will be a fair deal.

There is an offer upto 90k (exchange offer+cash discount+corporate discount), one gram gold coin + some offers for govt. employees.
BTW is it possible to add wiper and defogger without changing the entire hatch door (in lower variants)?
