And now this is really value for money. Please check the website .. http://www.india.ford.com/suvs/endeavour/models#step=1
They have more typo's on website. Looks like the 200 Cr brand transformation campaign isnt working

Per Ford India website 2.2 4x4 MT is priced lower than 4x2 MT !

Seems that is by design. 2.2 4x2 gets Leather whereas 4x4 does not

Should not be , as per the brochure and site both have Leather upholstery.

Haven't seen and compared though.

Re: Ford Endeavour : Official Review

I guess the headlight leveling issue has hit my Endeavour as well. Had a really hard time driving Chennai-Coimbatore with the headlights(low beam) barely covering a distance of 6 feet.

Low Beam:

Will this issue affect the throw of the high-beam as well? While using high beam, I didn't notice any reflection of the sign boards along the highway as well.

High Beam:

Do you think the assembly is due for replacement under warranty?

Vehicle is 3.2 AT Titanium.

Thanks,

This is very poor throw and the vehicle really shouldn't be driven on the highway with illumination as bad as this.
IMO, both low and high beams should be going much further. You should take this up with your Ford dealer asap.

On a related note, this is exactly why I prefer the old screw type adjustment of the headlamps to the modern auto-leveling thing. It was simple, hardy, easy to set and proven on tough Indian conditions. All you needed to set the focus was a screwdriver. Any noob could do it.

Re: Ford Endeavour : Official Review

Hi Friends ,

I am in Mumbai and Ford guys called up for a evening get together and taking the feedback on the new Endy.

Any idea if any one in the group has attended.

I also seek any critical feedback which can be shared for a logical boost to this vehicle.

My quick observations are as below :

-Navigation kit should have been a standard
- mirroring of phone on the Sync
- key less ignition
- headlights is a big issue
- no cool compartment. It is common even in low segment cars
-quality of accessories available as compared to international market
- seat depth , it is problem for people like me with long legs. There is hardly any thigh support

Any other inputs you may like to highlight.

I got a similar invite from the R&D folks of Ford. However, it is on a weekday and that too very far from my place of work so declined

Additional, if they could provide updates (software) to endy to get some of the features available internationally, that would be great.
for example. auto folding mirror when one switches off the vehicle.
are there any features we could add as paid accessory (reasonable cost unlike the navigation piece).
also ford should voluntarily inform the owners to replace the headlights, such a dangerously defective piece and I am sure several un-aware owners are still having the defective headlights as OE. it would do wonders to good will.
service people need to be properly trained and potentially even given a vehicle per service center (for them to learn), most of the time your vehicle would be the guinea pig.

I've received too . Since its a working day it would be a daunting task to make it in the infamous Blore traffic.
But i feel it will be worthwhile to pass on all the feed backs mentioned in this thread by fellow Bhpians.

This is conducted by a market research group named CIMIGO, engaged by ford.

Yes it is CIMIGO.

Spent almost 2 hours. Gave theses feedbacks They had a video recording done for the entire session and it was purely for feedback gathering.

I have them all the points mentioned in the thread.

Hope they take not of the same and bring in the changes as suggested.

Nair the suggestion on headlight was great. None of the participant had actually noticed it.

Re: Ford Endeavour : Official Review

Have been eyeing these mats since long time but couldnt take plunge of ordering something expensive (relatively) from aliexpress. But thanks to fellow forum members who took the plunge and shared the feedback on this thread (y). I have ordered these from the same link as shared in the previous posts. The vendor despatched within 4 days after placing the order and it reached me within a week after that. So overall it took approximately around 11 - 12 days which is "super fast" considering the time it took for few of my other shipments.

Have ordered "black mats with red stitching" , mentioned for a right hand drive and informed the vendor to declare it at less value in order to avoid customs duty (which worked). Quality and Fit is excellent, velcro attaches very well. I have always got original 3D mats, must mention that these mats are of superior quality and cover the floor completely. Attaching few photos for the benefit of fellow endy owners. Feel free to ask me for any further details

This is where I have ordered from : https://m.aliexpress.com/item/326938...aff_platform=y

This is how the package came in

Question: My headlights are from the older batch but for some reason have not gone bad yet. Perhaps because I have not driven much. Barely done 2.5K.

Has anyone got them replaced even before they went bad?
