While Cartoq seems to indicate Sunroof will be made available with Diesel GLS too.

When I checked back with the Dealer, I'm told they expect to receive variant details in 2-3 days.

My wife is very eager to upgrade from MT (Creta Petrol) to AT (Tucson Diesel) to save herself from Bengaluru traffic woes at the earliest. While we are expecting GLS-4WD to get Sunroof, if ACI news turns out to be true, it will be a huge letdown for us

Well the Pictures posted on ACI are of the GLS model as you can clearly see the dual barrel LED headlights which only come in GLS. I hope that clears the doubt that the GLS is available with Sunroof.

But there is nothing to suggest that, the model shown in those pictures is Diesel GLS right ? Per ACI, Petrol-GLS does come with Sunroof.

In case ACI news turns out to be true, we will wait for the facelift.

Re: Hyundai Tucson : Official Review

Got the confirmation from dealership that new 'optional pack features' are ready for booking.

Updated Price list (for Bengaluru) with Panaromic Sunroof option. Ex-Show room price is increased for Diesel GLS from to 25.74L to 26.84L

Brought home our new ride - 'Tucson GLS 4WD + Panoramic Sunroof' 2 days back. Left for hometown on the very next day which meant a long drive of around 450 Kms - from Bengaluru to Kota/Udupi. AT + 400 NM of Torque, with max torque in 'our' useable rpm range (1750-2750) meant an effortless drive.

Wireless charging slot is the only other (than the Sunroof) visible change.

Congrats! Car looks really cool and understated.

Please remove the plastic covers on the car seats if not done already as it is very harmful to inhale air mixed with these carcinogenic covers.

Wait, there's still no ventilated seats? Are they certifiably insane?

Tucson Crdi Issue - Strange Whistling Noise

Hi TBHP folks,

Need a bit of your inputs. I have a Tucson Crdi GLS AT 17k km run. In the last few days I have been hearing a strange whistling noise [confirmed with other people sitting in car]. It is only evident when accelerating from slow speeds ~20/30 km/hr. Have also been feeling lethargic acceleration but that might be a placebo effect being felt due to this noise issue.

Would request inputs/ credible folks in Hyundai ASS [within Gurgaon] who can be expected to solve this. I usually visit Orion Hyundai ASS and will be visiting them for now.

Look forward!

Kshitij

Re: Hyundai Tucson : Official Review

They need to release that facelift Tucson here with the updated dashboard and all. Rumored to be coming out in June.

Re: Hyundai Tucson : Passenger seat height increase

Hi,
The Hyundai Tucson Passenger seat is really low and i want to increase it.
Has anyone done this to their Tuscon?. I had asked the ASS but they dont do it and the local seat shops whom I visited advised that they could put a spacer between the mounting bolts but its a risk in case the threads get damaged or the existing bolt length might be insufficient.
Its very irritating to be seated so low and I just dont know why Hyundai did not give a basic hand pump type activated seat height adjust.
Please do share if you have any ideas.
regards,
Seacat

Guys, need to change the high beam bulb of 2018 manufactured Tucson. The 4WD version.

Need to know the specifications, whether its an H7, H4.

Downloaded the 2018 version owner's manual (LHD variant though) and could find it mentioned as H7 (55W) for high beams.
