More updates The Lucas semaphores had survived well and after a mild refurbishment were fitted back ![]() ![]() Fitted flush to the body ![]() I had procured a lockable fuel cap from UK ![]() As Chris says " the fuel cap and filler pipe was fitted to sit flush on the body unlike before. Sounds like a small fitting, but we had to remove the tank, do the measurements and then refit without anything showing except the fuel cap" ![]() ![]() Accelerator linkage bushing was done ![]() Various nobs are being fitted back and reconnected ![]() Cheers KPS

Have been able to source the correct oil SAE 30. We need 6 litres for the engine, 3 litres for the Gearbox and 5 litres for the Fluid Flywheel. Sharing with you a lubrication system for rear shackles and steering linkages. As seen in the car, the expansion chamber ![]() Details from the manual ![]() ![]() Cheers KPS

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() For the last one week Srinand and me have been debating on the badges. Both of agreed that we must not overdo the same. After further discussions at home, we agreed that we should not have more than 4 badges. The MYSORE plate was something we discussed and debated a bit about. We did not want the MYSORE to dominate the front. So the size, designed, integrating the court of arms etc was discussed in depth. I have received invaluable support from Srinand on this exercise! With the bumper fitted. We have not chromed the bumper ![]() Post COVID, we would probably take up the chrome work ![]() We place the fog lamps and look at options from the placement, to the length and possible fitment points for the Badge Bar ![]() Just over the crank hole ![]() The discussions still continue ...... Cheers KPS |

DLOC Badge ![]() KVCCC Badge (old type) which came with the car ![]() The AA Badge from UK ![]() The Gandaberunda was gifted to me and we debated to have it on the badge bar as the 4th Badge. But we all agreed that it is more like an ornament and should not be part of the badge bar ![]() The 4th Badge will the choice between RAC and British Field Sports. RAC was decided against, as it has been duplicated quite a bit ![]() We discussed MYSORE or MYSORE 89 to be done with a Gandaberunda or "Mysore Court of Arms". We do not want the MYSORE to dominate the front-end After we do the badge bar and after placing the same, we review the final combo. Cheers KPS
