I feel all the FIATans/PPians must be having some tale behind acquiring/restoring their beauties, What inspired them. Why not share them with us, what made/moved them to take the journey towards FIAT/PP. who knows you might be revoking some sweet memories of someone if not it can also be a learining experience for the upcoming/existing car lovers.

I know Ram, Shiva, Stanher you must be having a huge sack on you back filled with experience, come on please do share it with us.

The first posts of my elegant provide what made me buy one. I was attached to PP's since I have grown up with them. The first color of my 83 PP is the same one that would go on the elegant. More stories to follow suit

A small update about the progress of the club
Since the Founders' meet happened on last Sunday,Im totally focusing on the preparations for the Grand Launch of FCCH in mid April.
The founders decided to have few collaterals done for the club on the eve of the Launch.
Hence last few days has been busy trying to procure the material,print jobs,designs etc.
Legal registration is going on parallely as we are registering FCCH as a non-profit association with a governing body.
Suren and Shiva are working very hard on their Elegants to complete the entire restoration by 10th of April.

Meanwhile,Im still searching for a White Premier Padmini to complete my Italian Flag formation to my collection.Any pointers are welcome.

Ram who not we try the car which we saw. You remember the regd ADL XXXX with black leather/bhor rexine cover on the top. Why that? because its the early PP's and its white. Give it a shot sir.

Bala..I spotted a clean PP Deluxe BE stone throw from my house,rotting on the road.Im waiting for Shiva to land up at my home to go and negotiate.

All the very best sir, I wish I also get a center light (the yellow one) or Delite as easy as you get the cars sir.

What you say is right a white PP nothing like it. I would go with white and red upholstry inside. What say Ram sir?

Ram would love to get his hands on the first padmini that he would come across.

@Ram: How about contacting Mr shakir to check whether any padmini's have come up for scrapping. I remember seeing a very good s1 parked ready to be slaughtered sometime ago

Ram - Instead buy a PP.. I mean Premier President! Padmini can be bought anytime as there is absolutely no demand for it...
