@alligator-good buy
^^getting a dsg and A* S-MX2 also
congrats dude. I use the cross matte and a joe rocket stain series black and red. just a word of caution, please be prepared to clean the matte helmet very frequently. due to the finish, the helmet will attract dust and look dirty very soon. not to despair, a wipe with a wet cloth will solve this...

Guys, I visited a Helmet shop in Mumbai. Enquiring about the AGV's.
The dealer told me that the outer shell of the AGV's is of the same size.
However, the inners and padding inside the helmets determines the size of the helmet.
Is this correct ? I tried and XL which was tighter than a L, all the while thinking that The M would be the size for me............

In most of the new age helmets, and definitely in AGV, the dealer will be able to remove the inner padding and fix a thinner one if the original does not fit. this is normal. my helmet size is xl but have asked for a thin padding inside cause of my bloated head

Guys,
Need your help. I am buying an Honda Activa for my wife and would need your inputs on the following:
1. I would like to buy a full face helmet for my wife but generally have seen ladies wear the half helmet.
2. What brand would be good to buy and which place to buy. I stay in central Mumbai.

Would appreciate help from you guys.

Thanks

Yes Mayur, That is the case nowadays with most of the helmets and best part is they come with a removable lining.

I had faced similar issue with one of my new helmets and the dealer simply swapped the inner lining for the thinner one.

BTW are you from Prabhadevi in Mumbai? Just curious, as I had one of my school mates from Dr. A.D.S.H with the same name.

@ MantriG, Thanks for the info.

However, I live in Andheri west. And I have met quite a few namesakes on FB and Orkut . I pipped them to the post for registering on both portals.

I had a look at the LS2 helmets and the fit is finish is superb. It also has an ISI mark embossed (not just a sticker). Will look for the DOT or snell rating before I get one

Btw, here is a pic of friends' LS2 helmets composed as one pic.
Confirmed with my friend, LS2's have DOT certification.

I've never owned Vega but I think they are pretty decent Indian helmets.

I own one (The Shumacher replica) which is almost 7 years old now! The helm has taken all kinds of beating and the inner lining needs replacement now. So am looking at replacing the helmet itself. But what do I do with this one?

Google search the window resizer tool. It is the most convenient resizing tool, and downsizing images is just a right click away.

Use PaintBrush (mspaint) if you are using Windows operating system. Use the Stretch option to increase/decrease the size by specifying % to increase/decrease horizontally/vertically. And then save the file. Simple
