A friend had 2 episodes ready. Couldn't wait for the weekend and watched them yesterday. What a gripping start, it kept me glued. Will surely binge watch the remaining episodes this weekend.

P.S. Watching UK series after a long gap. It took me good 3 attempts to pick the accent during the starting train scene.

I do wish they would stop referencing Mike Ross. It reminds me of how sad Happy days became when Richie was available on the phone after Ron Howard left. It did not work!
Where did you find season 8? I don't think it has been released on Netflix.

Watching 'Dirty Money' on Netflix. Season 1 has 6 episodes and all are about an hour long. Highly recommended.

Watched American Vandal from Netflix. There are two short seasons available (8 episodes each). I thoroughly enjoyed both seasons. Do not watch with kids.

Currently watching season 8 of Battlebots - thankfully most of it is available on youtube!

Very good fun of innovative robots fighting in an arena against each other; think Real Steel but in a motorized robot car kind of setup.

Have seen some of the past seasons; it's always a good fun watch!

Though I am sure it has been mentioned earlier on this thread, let me give another vote of must-watch to Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime. Pretty gripping narrative about middle eastern terrorism and how it spreads globally. Fine acting by John Krasinski and several others.

First season has been around for some time now, so a good one to binge watch the 11-12 odd episodes. Looking forward to Season 2!

Its a brilliant timepass show. I sues to follow the previous version of Robot wars, and this was quite welcome.
I would love to see icewave vs tombstone. But its sawblaze that looks brilliant in the arena.

In case anyone's still watching The Walking Dead , season 9 has started.

The season is slated to be the final season for series lead Andrew Lincoln who plays Rick. Hmmm.

Do they plan to continue without him? I don't watch the show, but to me he's the character/actor who is the face of the show - him, and the progression of his beard/lines on his face through each season

Just finished "Bodyguard".
Thank you for the recommendation.
Was nice to see Robb Stark (Richard Madden) as the protaganist in a contemporary role for once. It suits him well.

On another off topic note, I saw "Miss Sherlock" while on a trip to the US last week.
Superb re-imagining of the classic British detective set in present day Japan.
The cast being Japanese is unfamiliar to us but they do full justice to the roles.
The Sherlock & Watson characters are portrayed by ladies.
For once, the Lestrade character of the Japanese police is not in conflict with Miss Sherlock but welcomes her inputs and actively seeks her help.
Interestingly the house Sherlock stays in is still 221B.

Hope this is streamed on Netflix or Amazon India.

Miss Sherlock

Seems like no one watches ELEMENTARY here.

What a fantastic end to season 6. The last two episodes tested the acting prowess of Jonny Miller and Lucy Liu to the fullest. Credit to the writers for penning down such thrilling stories.

Season 7 is currently in production, so not sure when it will hit Amazon Prime.

Overall, Elementary has had its edge over the Sherlock world, with a different take on the famous characters, by having a lady as Watson. Also, being shot almost entirely in NY, gives it a different look and feel.

Of course, Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock is arguably the BEST ever in my books, but Elementary is not too far behind.

BIG fan of Elementary here. I love S4 with John Noble as Sherlock's father, in particular. Yet to view S6, however

And yes, Jonny Miller is phenomenal in his role, and Lucy Liu in her first role that I don't hate her!

I agree. 4th season was damn good. In the 6th season, they have successfully carried one parallel track till the end of the season. Brilliant writing, I must say.
