Any news on Permanent Roommates season 3? Is it released audio only? If yes then that's a big letdown.

Any fans of Silicon Valley here? It's hilarious. I don't binge watch anything, but this was an exception.
Sling is free in the evenings and has BCS - check it out.

Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Below is the list of shows I completed since workfromhome and Lockdown,

1.) Westworld (Hotstar)
2.) Peaky Blinders (Netflix)
3.) Tiger King (Please avoid, not worth the time and bandwith spent)
4.) Special Ops (Hotstar)
5.) Shameless (Prime)
6.) Young Sheldon (Prime)
7.) Afsos (Prime)

Have started a re-run of The Office (Prime) and also BigBangTheory and Friends (I hate both shows) with the wife.

Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

I've just started watching Doc Martin on Netflix. Stars Martin Clunes, and is set in an English village.
I swear, it almost feels like you're back in time, reading an Enid Blyton!
Would recommend, but it may not be for everyone, especially if you want fast paced action.

I'll also recommend cloak and dagger, I think it's on prime. It's wonderful. Though short lived, only 2 seasons.

Couldn't locate this on Netflix? Maybe in India? When checking online, it says its on Prime in the US but cannot see it cause I have Prime India.

Edit - I see it on India Netflix. VPN to the rescue.

Billions Season 5 has aired. First episode was a bit lacklustre. Hope they pick up pace in later ones.

Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Due to wfh norms, I had to install an antivirus in my personal laptop. I had purchased Norton 360 1 year subscription.
It has an inbuilt vpn. Using this, I'm able to watch shows from Netflix USA.
I read somewhere that Netflix doesn't allow usage of vpns. But mine is working so far.
Watching Episodes now, starring Matt LeBlanc.

On the same note, Can anyone educate me how to get a VPN and how to integrate it with Netflix so I can also see Netflix USA. Also, do i have to change the region whenever I want to watch Netflix India. Please educate.

Upload- 23 min 10 episodes. Breeze to binge. It's kinda The Good Place done with a sci fi touch. First couple of episodes are slow and then it picks up. It's a good timepass. Available on Amazon Prime. Rating - 3.5/5

Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

ZeroZeroZero
It's on the line of Narcos. Drugs and cartel but with a different kind of storyline. It's a slow burner so dont expect some high pace action scenes. Also, use subtitles as French, Italian etc are liberally used along with English. Ending could have been better.
Rating - 3.5/5

Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Watched a few episodes of Trying on Apple TV+.

One of those easy going, fun and heartwarming series that you can watch with anyone or anytime. It's British so a change in cultural setting (since we're so used to Indian/American shows) is refreshing.

Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Watched all seasons of Ozark on Netflix. Was interesting at times, at times it was a bit slow. A decent watch overall.

Also saw Ghoul on Netflix. Not bad for an Indian horror series. It was a short & did not drag on forever!

Re-recommending Electric dreams on Prime.
Based on Phillip K Dick's works.
If you like sci-fi, this a series of very well produced, individually storied episodes.
