Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Hi Guys,

I want to watch all seasons of South Park - any idea where can I watch it? Netflix has content from Season 16 onwards but I need to watch earlier seasons too. Any other free streaming website where I can watch South Park?

Fauda (Netflix)
A great watch but looks a little streched in the middle.
Hostages (Hotstar)
Haven't completed the season but is really good. Tisca Chopra is flawless with her performance and so is Ronit Roy.

Watched Godless on Netflix. Went in without much expectations and it turned out to be quite a surprise. Short and crisp story line with a proper ending. Watch it if you are an old time cowboy gangsta stuff fan, won't be disappointed.

Watched The Spy mini series on Netflix. The starting two episodes were a bit slow but the show really picks up after that and it’s a perfect edge of the seat stuff. It is based on a real life story of Eli Cohen, the Israeli spy. Must watch for thriller lover.

How many of you have watched Dark on Netflix?
Two seasons are out. Watched both and must say I am intrigued.
Waiting for season 3.

Sony liv has all seasons of Community.
It's the best piece of TV that I've ever seen, after top gear.

Pity they didn't have six seasons and a movie .

We generally agree on many things Mayank, but I'm kind of the biggest hater of Top Gear.

And Community?! You mean that slow moving, very below average scripted, kind-of-comedy show with Alison Brie? Many people love it and I wonder why, I've seen all episodes btw, a year ago.

I know we'll all say at the end of the day that tastes differ, but I'm always interested to know why people like a show, maybe I'll get a unique dimension from it.

I guess we'll have to disagree here, then.
Community and TG both have a kind of "I dont care to be PC, and I don't care if you're offended" humour, which I totally enjoy.
And like it or not, you can't deny the visual excellence of Top Gear. Nor that of Allison brie on community, for that matter.

And THAT, there, is exactly the comedy I enjoy, but I found Community to be quite directionless in terms of plot, and its nowhere in the level of offensive or anti-PC as shows like Curb or Its Always Sunny, which are outrageous, and I love them.

Yeah, Alison Mack is a major reason why I got through the show lol.

In case any of you are interested in Bosch on Prime, a new season is out.

Watched Panchayat too, well made, worth a watch if you do not like dramatic shows.

Re: The TV / Streaming shows thread (no spoilers please)

Finished watching Money Heist on Netflix. A very engaging & thrilling show. Had no clue it would consist of so many episodes, took me 5 days to finish watching them all. Now waiting for Season 5/part 5.

This was my first time experience on any streaming platform. All these years stayed away as I did not want it to become an addiction. I guess I've become an addict now thanks to the lockdown! Have been browsing this thread for interesting recommendations.
