After inquiring unsuccessfully about the movie at a couple of DVD shops, I ordered a MoserBaer vcd online (Rs 34 + 45 delivery charges). Lets see when they deliver it, hoping to catch it on the weekend

@Eddy, hats off to you for taking the trouble to watch a VCD

Since the DVD and Blue-Ray has come into fashion, I skip a movie rather than watch them in any other format since they dont compliment my HT at all.

Many a times, i have either deleted a movie from the queue or dont watch a movie delivered if its in VCD format

I agree, as the movie progresses, we tend to forget its Big B skin for real. Very well played character. Kudos to Big B.

Didn't have no choice

The movie is not available at bigflix, nor on a DVD. Blue ray is still unaffordable for me.

Watched "Well Done Abba" yesterday.

Movie seems inspired by Pankaj Kappor's TV Series "Office Office".

Movie starts off a little slow, but grows on you as it progresses.
Its a story of Boman Irani working as a driver in Mumbai, goes back to his village to marry off his daughter. It is there he learns about the Govt. scheme providing money to build well on your land, and citing the shortage of water in his village decides to avail the scheme. He has to face corruption at every step forward is getting his well dig up.

Boman Irani is excellent. Rest of the characters are adequate.

Movie is not a laugh-riot. It has its few share of laughs, in parts.

For me, its a one time watch.

Rating: 2.5/5

Hi Harry,

From your write-up it sounds to me that Hum Tum Aur Ghost may be a loose copy of "Ghost Town". Any idea?

Had to watch snippets of 'Luck' on TV. Horrible movie. No wonder it came to TV sets so soon. Total fantacies.

Watched Hum Tum or Ghost

This movie is a a Khichdi or various non-scary Ghost movies. The movie has its funny moments but the overall movie is confused as to whether its a comedy or a serious drama because while it had potential to be either one of them it landed up as none.

Dia Mirza - Looks Absolutely stunning
Bomen Irani - Simple role for his caliber
Arshad Warsi - Looks shabby through out the movie (first half is understandable but why later?)

The Music is surprisingly very bad considering its by Shankar, Ehsaan & Loy.

My Rating - 2/5
