Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

Dear All,

I am not able to search Team BHP app in google play on Realme mobile. However, I can see the same app while using Redmi/samsung/apple mobile. By any chance would you know how to install the app in Realme ? Is there any other way we can do it, may be any other BHPian faced same issue? I googled but found no answers.

Thanks,
Shakti.

Team-BHP app has been unpublished from Android Play store & iOS app store. Please use mobile website, related post (Team-BHP App for your Android Phone & Tablet).

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

I think this is an important suggestion: Do incorporate an owner’s take for any new car review.
To make myself more clear, for example, for the new Civic review, include a BHPian in the review-taking process (ex: ride, handling, interior, additional comments, observations). Possibly more experienced BHPians can be included, or maybe those with prominent ownership reviews. I do believe that should improve the already excellent quality of reviews significantly. Just my thoughts.

Re: The Commitment to maintain Team-BHPs QUALITY!

I am not sure if this is the right thread to post this, but it is the one that is closely related. Of late I am seeing an empty gray box at the end of every first post in each page (of every thread). Each post in team-bhp is in a rectangular gray box. But there is one empty box at the end of the fist post in each page. Any one else see this ? If so this may need a fix ? I am using Google Chrome on MS Windows.

EDIT : Attaching a screenshot of the issue from this very same page.

I believe we have a separate thread for reporting bugs and issues. It's entitled - "Requests for TeamBHP from TeamBHPans" or something to that effect.

Now, to answer your question, it definitely seems like you have some kind of Ad-Blocker installed on your browser that's blocking Ads (that space shows Advertisements) and making it appear as an empty "box" to you.

You may want to study that angle.

Thank you, this helps. MODS - Kindly move this post sequence to the appropriate thread.

I believe ad-blocker only blocks pop-up advertisements, no ? I do have one in my Chrome browser which I use daily, so there are no pop-up ads. To double check, I tried opening the same page in IE, I do get an ad pop-up from the bottom right, but this gray empty box continues to show up.

Here's what I see. And if not locally on your browser, do you browse from a corporate network? It could be a global Ad-Block setting on your LAN?

Re: The Commitment to maintain Team-BHPs QUALITY!

I recently had one of my posts modified for double spacing. It was done by a moderator. Thank you mod for helping me with it. It looks more legible and structured now.

But all posts of mine get double spacing automatically even though I only leave one. And its only visible after I post. Can anyone help me with whats happening and how to avoid it?

Edit: Happened to this post as well.

It happens to me as well. This has been happening for the last month or so, I don't remember actually though. I use firefox on my mobile, if that helps in debugging.

How about auto merge of consecutive posts? This feature is there on majority of forums these days.

Can we please remove the "Please lengthen your message to at least 20 characters" check when the click is on "Preview Post"? It is relevant only when "Submit Reply" is clicked.

Clicking on the usernames of some members leads to an error: "Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator", instead of landing on their profile. What could be the issue?

Are you using Firefox? They seem to keep messing this up in updates.

You can try updating to the latest firefox. Or perhaps try another browser and see if you're still facing the issue?

Yes, I use Firefox. I am not sure when it started, but it has been happening for a while. My firefox is the latest one available on Google play store.

I am posting this using Opera to check if it is related to the browser.

Edit: The additional spacing does not appear on Opera.
