Dhoni is on field today. Times have changed. These players would prefer to fight it out in the trenches than grace the red carpet.

I think we could do without a replacement - dont need another of the same sort in the next team, thank you very much. If only the original would just go away.

Till the time he wishes to. Selectors can never chuck him out. He is bigger than the Selectors. Ask someone from Mumbai and you will know what he is considered there.
Moreover he is intelligent enough to know his time has come and will move out himself. If you remember he took his name out of Twenty 20 world cup inspite of the fact that Dhoni asked him to play.

Are you suggesting he is not good enough?
Thats some statement for someone who was complimented by even the Great Bradman.

Harry, Lets not talk about Sachin s replacement. He hasnt retired yet so lets just forget about it and you dont need to mention his greatness , all of us adore him and need no mention about him!!

Coming back to todays match : Seems like John s predictions working. We are surely gonna lose this one. Badrinath should have played , R Sharma has got enough chances.

You are right Karan.
In the excitement of winning the series i even forgot today is last match

Isn't R Sharma getting 2 many chances inspite of not performing in any match?

Harry, no one can deny that he is the little Master of the record books. However, the mark of a great player is they know when to quit. Like a Brian Lara.

Playing on & on & on even when you're nowhere near your earlier form is a sorry state of affairs. And he will keep on playing till he eclipses Lara's record I guess. Hopefully, he will then retire (siggghhhhh).

Or will he

No, he will not. He will break the record and play for a further one year just to prove he was not playing for the record.

Well he can continue to play for Mumbai in the Ranji or Irani trophies. Nobody will complain.

Whaddayathink?

I guess the time for suggestion is over - this should be read as a statement, not a suggestion.
