Did anyone see the papers today, Kumble indeed has better figures on the Mohali(seamer friendly track) then all the other "spinners". Funny isnt it?

logically thats how it should be. He is not a genuine leg spinner. Just a bit of variations in pace and bounce is how he get wickets. So he doesnt need spinning tracks like a Warne or Murli who would be more efficient on spin tracks.

Maybe. the concern is for last 2 years he is not as effective on any track as he used to be. In my eyes he has become a liability for the team (cant bat much, fielding was always weak and now bowling also).

Interesting isnt it. A spinner who is effective on seaming pitches and spinning pitches too. He is a smart bowler.

He was never good in his fielding, does not practise enough lol. Bat he can bat(not a batsman though), but acts like a monkey when he goes in the middle, especially in international matches.

He used to be really effective with bat earlier. Scored few centuries in ranji as well but now he is like Mcgrath. He may not admit but age is catching up!

51.1Siddle to Tendulkar, 3 runs, That's the record! He lunges forward to a full delivery outside off and deftly glides it down to third man, he pumps his fists as he completes the second run, he's now the highest run-scorer in Tests beating Lara's tally of 11,953, fireworks go up in the stadium, he gets a rousing standing ovation from the crowd and his team-mates, there's a brief hold up in play as the fireworks seem to last forever! The Australians are taking a breather, normal service has been disrupted, that's for sure! We're back. Loud cheers as Tendulkar takes strike
Source: Cric info

Now Sachin holds the record of most of runs scored both in ODI and Tests

Another milestone for Sachin. He just complete 12000 runs. Well done, mate.
And Ganguly completes 7000 runs. Good one.

Australia seems to be in trouble.
They're chasing 516 for victory and have score 50 / 2 on day 4 of the second test.
