I don't know if this was ever shared here or not. I had put it on the Facebook page a long time back. SLS crashed in Lutyens Delhi and was clicked by a friend since I was driving.
My guess: took the 'has gullwings, will fly' too literally!

This was in the first half of 2012. I don't remember the exact time. There was a massive commotion so I didn't think it was appropriate for us to stop and ask around. There were cops but we didn't see any ambulance around. I assume and sincerely hope that the injuries, if any, would be minimal.

Ouch that's a bad crash. The Z4 seems to have been T-boned by another car. It seems to be a case of total loss.

I've never seen a wheel snapped of a a hub like that! What did the Z4 hit? All the wheels are out of place. Bad accident, may the passenger R.I.P.

re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

Any information on how did this happen? Did the car hit the divider or level concrete wall? None of the wheels are in place. Major impact seems to be on the rear left end of the car.

re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

I just cant understand or imagine how the car ended up like this. Looks like a tank went over it. The car must be close to its top speed..
RIP

re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

Dreadful accident. Although reckless and high speed accidents occur the world over, it seems that the holier-than-thou attitude occurs even more greatly in the young and affluent exotic car owners in India. Sad to see the car in such a condition. Rest in peace to the deceased, and I hope that the injured and their respective family members can learn from this and set positive examples to anyone else who may be tempted to floor down a road for a short-lived thrill.
