aadix, an in-city meet anytime is cool. My humble suggestion is to post a small in-city meet meet idea asap wherein we could discuss the mother of all meets, in Hyderabad i.e.

In-city meet is also good.We can jam in a pub(even though i dont drink) or even KBR park parking like we did in Feb 08.

Guys, how about a meet in the Hitech city area on July 16 ( Wednesday) and we can chill at the pub in Hitech city. Since most of us work here, suggesting a venue at hitec. All other folks are most students who don't mind travelling to hitec, i hope

Venue: Pub in Hitech ( forgot the name, above Pizza Hut), he gives good corporate discounts, if the number is high, we can talk to him
Date: July 16, 7:00pm
Agenda: Chill with beers until 10:00pm

also wouldnt a weekened lunch be better rather than a evening meet, that ways i guess many more people would be free, and the turn out also would be good

Given the superb weather these days, how about a rooftop restaurant? I suggest these three-

-Ginger Court, Madhapur(not a great Fan of its service though)
-Zafraan Exotica
-Cocos(opposite to KBR park near Shikaar)

But the cost of booze will be on the higher side at the resto-bars.

As for pubs-
Club-8 's 50% off during happy hours is too great an offer to miss out.

I suggest the old timers to come up with more suggestions as they might be aware of better places to hangout

Weekday lunch is not possible as people cannot leave their work and come for it. In addition to that, i won't be interested to come if there is no booze

All the 3 places above are out. GC is too bloody crowded and ZE, Cocoas are too expensive for drinks.

Even though the Club 8 is in a crowded location, we can think of it but, i doubt anybody can reach it before 8pm

It was a good idea from Aadix, we can book a banquet hall, aadix, if you know of any let us all know. If a package is considered like Rs.500-600 for snacks and drinks would be a great deal.

hi folks

I may not be present for the meet, I have to travell all the way from the other side of the city and by the time I come to the meet it would be 10:00 PM because of 50KM in the traffic!!!

I may not be available even it would be this weekend, as some of you know that our farm house is under construction, I have to go and make some arrangements.

BTW, I will plan a good meet for the future(may be September or October - some thing like and off-road drive). So I will checking out few places near our farm house.
