Hyderabad August 2008 meet.

Hi fellows, lets continue the monsoon show...

Things once finalised will be put up here.

For now pour in your ideas here.

I propose, ANANTHAGIRI HILLS near Vikarabad.

Been to Ananthgiri Hills several times, there is nothing to do and the drive is too short ( 65kms).

If some other ( preferably longer) destination, i am in. otherwise, i am out!

Ananthagiri? It is a routine word for me. Yet, everytime I feel excited, love to ride to this place. Make sure we visit a small dam nearby (16 km further).

Raj and Me conferred offline and are contemplating a different route, a path that we hyd tbhpian's never treaded.

What transpired of our conversation was, why not do a straight beautiful highway drive up to 100km on Nizambad highway ( one of the smoothest highway ) and rest for lunch in a dabha enroute or even beyond 100kms ( we don't mind another 20-25kms for good food...do we?)

Let's see where this plan goes!!!

Awesome to know your outright confirmation. Your right, all drives are planned in such a way, we leave early and return back home the same evening ( however late).

We are yet to evolve for those over-nighters

Check out those Kochi Monsoon Drive- thats from where I derived my strength to say about an over nite extended stay and drive. After reading them- feel there is still more room for our fun

Overnite

I'm in for an overnite plan....Somehow the 'same day drive-return magic' doesnt work too often for me.

Arrey Bhaiyya, when did i say, i am not ready for an overnighter.

Its just that we need substantial numbers to make it happen. If we get those numbers ( say 6-8 couples, additional singles) then wow, it would be awesome fun.

over night drive is not a very good idea at a time like this when there is shortage of fuel outside the city! so a good say 250-300kms to and fro drive should be planned imo!

Guys, Ananthagiri is hardly a drive....by the time you get into the groove, you are there!

Lets do something a bit longer...

Also, I am in only for the last weekend of August....am overseas 2nd and third week.
