I talked with the person incharge (Vijay). He seem to be extremely professional and know what needs to be done.

Further details once the sales person visits me in some time
Hey bud, have the pegasus guys shown up yet? Do post a review of the work done by them.

Also if you do have their rate card and list of services, it would be nice if you could post it on this forum or PM it

Isnt covering the car and constant removal lead to scratches on the sides of the car?

Hi Mubeen. Yes Pegasus guys had come that saturday. Very Prompt and professional.

They did gentle rubbing and polishing along with Wax shine. Excellent work. The charge is around 3500 + taxes =3815/- for my i10.

They first washed the car using the bosch waterspray. Then Vaccumed the interiors. Cleaned and greaced the engine bay. Checked the coolent level. Then cleaned and polished the tyres, bumper and the mats. Overall a wonderful and a clean job.

This charge of Rs. 3500 is for 12 sessions (1 per month). I am sure it is really worth the money. The waxing was uniform and excellent.

Get in touch with Vijay and tell them that Arun Vijayaraghavan from T-BHP had referred you. He woudd explain it all.

PS.: I hadnt taken any pictures of the car before and after the work done. My next session is due next month. That time I would take the before & after pics and post the same.

Thanks,

vnagarajs & aks_karthik:

The contact number is Phone : +91 44 42046607/08. Get in touch with Mr. Vijay who owns the Pegasus Facilities.

I have an independent house, hence it isnt much of a problem. You can talk to him on how pegasus works if it is an appartment.

Yes, You need to provide them a water tap and an electric plug for the vaccume cleaner.

Yes www.pegasusfacilitiers.com is their official website.

Just call for Vijay and talk to him, he would explain whatever is needed. I would rate him as highly professional and a straight forward guy.

Please talk to him and provide your feedback.

*****Guys, i have talked to him right now and complimented the work done by their workers. I also told him that some of my T-BHP friends would be calling him for their service. Please call him at 98416-03632

Yes the light synthetic ones are the best, Dont go for tarpaulin car covers, As they are heavy and there's a high possiblity of scratching the car when removing/covering.

EDIT: My 200th post

Also see that the quality of the cover is good.
Some low quality plastic or thin polythen type covers are bad as they
become very stiff after couple of months use (especially if the car is parked under the sun) and tend to make scratches on the body?

Actually i have the car park with a shade on top. There is no direct sunlight on the car. But when it rains, the water falls on the compound walls from the roof and the the sprinkles get to the car. The next day morning, the car is all sticky. If so, do I get used to cleaning it everyday (cos it rains max 30days in a year in Chennai), or use car covers or wash it once a week.

The scratch remover/swirl remover/rubbing compound should be used before waxing and not after.

Is there any product such as California Duster available in India, more specifically.. in Delhi?

Though I can order it frm abroad(it'll take too long for it to arrive to me!), but I need it as soon as possible, as the dust problem is becoming a real pain to manage!

Please suggest some solutions!
All i can think of is the multicoloured synthetic dusters you get here. They are not very effective but they do remove a little dust. You can use a very soft dry cloth if the dust accumulation is less.

For heavy dust and dirt always use a damp cloth and never a dry cloth

Gently remove the dust with the damp cloth moving horizontally or vertically in one direction and not in circles . Once done you can use a soft dry cloth to finish up and dry teh car.
