I Got it directly from the Racedynamics office in Koramangala (Bangalore). Set me back by 20K and I have been using it since the 5K service. Don't expect too much of a horsepower increase, but Drivability is awesome. Engine is much quieter & smoother. Picks up in higher gears in low speeds. As you keep running into your car, it makes the Engine much more refined. The only reason I am not upgrading to the Automatic W10 is due to the refinement that my specific beast has as far as the Engine goes. I would suggest to go with your eyes closed...

That is correct. You can buy them on redrooster and have them delivered to your/his doorstep. He charges a nominal amount to fix em up.

It is tough to explain but there was a funny way the stock springs use to behave when you go over cobblestone kinda surface. With the Tiens, thats no more the case. The springs are firm and give you a sporty feel. When you corner hard, the lateral acceleration cornering force is for sure something that you will love. Am sure its around 0.80 to 0.85g. It corners as flat as possible. These just cost me 34K installed. These along with the Deiseltronic ECU make my beast a fun to drive machine.

May be I should try the Dampers Hardening for now. There is a professional in Mysore who is doing Dampers Hardening for Rally Cars. He is doing hardening for normal cars too. My friend has done it for Dzire and Scorpio (leaf spring model) and he is happy with the results ( better ride quality and comfortness on bad roads and stability on highways ) . He has also done it for his Pajero , but yet to fit it. Thinking of trying it for XUV too. Cost is much less than the springs actually.

Need advice for a friend:

What is the average life of XUV 5OO brake pads (Front & Rear)? Is it true that the front brake pads need replacement every 20k Kms? One of my friend who owns a W8 was asked to replace the front brake pads of Bosch make with Galfar make at 20k service and now at 40k service the service guys are asking him to replace both front and rear brake pads which means the front brake pads lasted only 20k kms where as the rear ones lasted for 40k.
Per the service folks, the max life is only 20 - 22k kms.
He is a decent driver and doesn't do any harsh braking.

My vehicle's static bending lights have somehow stopped responding to turns at some point, and I recently happened to notice. They were working fine until a couple of months back. It's good to know from you that these are speed sensitive since i was wondering if a sensor had stopped working. Could you throw some light on what could have possibly gone wrong? The speedo shroud is rattling and driving me crazy. Also, I've noticed that one of my tyre sensors has gone kaput. It shows low pressure in the tyre (22 psi) and then either disappears or stays, depending on the car's mood. There's no puncture. The Tyres are brand new (replaced 1k kms ago). Anyone had this issue?

Static bending headlamps are designed to turn ON when the speed is above 5Km/h and only when the car is moving forward. Hope you are not trying to check the same while stationary.

This is from the Owner's manual,

It will be activated when the head lamp is ON and steering wheel turned more than 90° at 5 kmph or 45° at 100 kmph speeds.
