Yes these are aftermarket. A lot of different brands are a available. As for the new octavia mirrors I have no idea but even if it fits the polo it will be quite expensive.
I cant seem to send a PM to you as you are in a Newbie status.

Yep, looks like I need to have 25+ posts before I get full member functionality. Would it be okay to publish the pricing on here? Looks like I will be purchasing a few upgrades before I even have the car in hand!

Can't seem to be able to edit the post to avoid double posting.

I'm in love with these TTRS style replica rims that would go really well with Polo.

They look 17" to me or could they be 18" (would be overkill for our roads then unfortunately). Any reputable place I could source these in South India / Bangalore?

What are you guys' thoughts?

My word. I might have just peed myself. That is beautiful. I'm sorry, but I have no information where you might find these wheels but all I can say is, you better do and post some pictures of them!

I don't remember the last time when I saw a car that looked so perfect. Cheers.

Hey are you also getting an error after the maxidot upgrade?
Also looks like you changed to the european rcd510 with the phone button.

Why not try the front parking sensor retrofit? saw a few kits in some e-stores

Thumbs up to all your mods! Looks classy!

Hi Robi, can the GTI or R line steering wheel with paddle shifters from VAGTune be fixed on the old Vento 1.6 MPI autobox ?

Personally I dont lust after these. BUT if you love it, check with Autopsyche, Delhi. Shipping to Bangalore isnt a big deal or cost. The same wheels are added by them on a Laura.

These wheels would look good with a big brake kit in my opinion. Many replica wheels of this TTRS design are available in various finishes. My pick being the gunmetal grey.

hmm.. I can see why you don't lust after them, they are matte black and have huge tyres on them on the Laura. Thanks for the link though!

Hi Robimahanta,

Nice ORVM mirrors. Do you know if such orvm mirrors are also available for Skoda Fabia (heated)? If yes, could you share a contact for procuring those?

Did you get these from B'lore/India?

re: VW Polo GT 1.2L TSi: The baby TSi EDIT: Sold!

Robi, your threads are soon becoming "the" threads to refer to, for any and all car mods.
First with the Laura and now with the baby TSi.

I TD'd the TSi recently, and oh boy! Is it fun, or is it fun?! That, in stock form. I can only imagine what it must be, to drive your version of it

The bug has been set since the day the it was launched, grew once I TD'd it, and now has reached epic proportions, after reading your thread.
Damn you Robi, you make your cars so amazing, that the stock form just doesn't seem enough now

Oh yeah, could you please share the details of the ORVM? I'm sure they would be available for the Laura too.

The ORVMs are aftermarket and different brands are available. My mirrors are of a chinese brand called Walson (cheaper than the rest and does the job). Get in touch with Vagtune or JJ Motorwerks for further details.

Hey Vinj! No I am not getting any errors after the cluster upgrade. Initially some errors were there as the VW guys did not code properly but everything was removed with VCDS.

As for the front sensors, I may retrofit the GTi bumper kit soon, hence not getting the sensors installed now.

I am not sure Verruckt. I guess the Vagtune guys would be your best bet for that info.

Not yet Prithwi. Peter said there are still drone issues with the Supersprint one and it will take some more time. A custom exhaust can be done but I am reluctant to go that way because I am not sure of the quality of material used and workmanship out here. I would rather wait and get a thoroughly tested stainless steel one from Supersprint. Another problem is that the 1.2 Tsi is not a performance hatch anywhere in the world, not many companies are making aftermarket exhausts for it.

Wish we had something like this in India
