4000 KM update. Car seems to be giving a decent F.E. of about 10-12 in city ( Difficult to resist putting the foot down. ) The car is doing fantasticly. Just one issue, while on a Khandala drive, one of the Temp control knobs came out in my hands ( Excessive force was not used ). Put it back, but its still not as firm as the other one. Will be talking to the Audi guys tomorrow. However besides that one slight issue, the car is doing fine, infact she is a load of fun. I stand by what i say when i say that looks (Interior/ Exterior) wise she beats the C and 3 hands down. Gives me that 'special' feeling every second i'm with her. I'v heard good things about her back seat comfort. Never had the urge or the opportunity to lounge around there!!!

Whoa Man! This thread changed my decision of buying a 320D I was discussing with dad this evening. He gonna shout at me in the morning

I was looking for a Black car, but would that look as HOT as this white is looking?

Absolutely stunning!!!!Enjoy your ride! The insurance package seems good and will definitely lower the cost of ownership.Too bad it met with a minor accident so early. But these are inevitable especially in bumper to bumper traffic.Great choice of color and the brown seats simply look really cool. The console and instrumentation too look better than the c class and the 3 series, more futuristic I.M.H.O. Enjoyed reading your review.

Touched around a 185 on the way back, no drama at all, car was still confident, steering well weighted and the passengers had no inkling about the speeds we were going at. Cornering was good, very un-FWD type. Acceleration till 165 was brilliant, but then considerably slow ( Sunroof was open with a man standing up even at that speed ) so that might have hampered it a bit. Nothing that Pete's can't fix i'm sure!!

@ The godfather, The Audi A4 is a more practical choice than the Bimmer any day. Unless your a high speed freak who does regular expressway runs and needs that awesomely crazy feel , the A4 will more than suffice. The interior and exterior quality is top notch, and both of them look better than the 3 or the C. IMHO car looks best in white and red. Black comes second. Easier to maintain too!!

Black A4 with the interior trim color shown above will be stunning! It will look even more fabulous with the LED lights, though the black color will be harder to maintain. But yes, I would recommend Audi A4 over BMW 3 series.

I am still not sure about the color. As we are getting two cars all along, one 5er and one was previously 320D but I think I should go for the Audi. So lets see if 5er comes in black then A4 would be white or some other color otherwise it will be black for sure!

I found both White and Red better than the Black. But the greyish colour they offer is pretty decent too!

On saturday night my brother was showing the car to a few friends. The key got stuck in the ignition and refused to come out. Car got towed away immediately with the help of Audi top assist. Car is ready today, will go there and ascertain the exact cause for this.

This happened recently too in my BMW 320d.

My driver called, saying that the keys were stuck in the slot and were not coming out. Luckily the car was at home.

When I reached home that evening; discovered that my idiot driver was trying to pull out the key, with the gear lever in 'D'.

It needs to be shifted to 'P', before the key can be taken.

I assure you the gear lever was in P. The 2.0 has keys you have to insert in the slot and then press it in once more to Fire the engine. My smart brother ( Who for reasons you shall discover soon enough is NOT allowed to drive the car ) while showing his friends , used excess force when the Car refused to fire when he pressed the key in. I hear the Damages are around 2K. Besides that the car spend 4 days at the workshop. Audi top assist in convenient though. Will go pick her up in an Hour or two.

Audi bungles it up and probably makes up for it again.

Well, i went to the workshop to get her back yesterday. While i was with the service adviser, i spoke to him how a certain Temp. control switch was seeming flimsy. He looked at it in depth and detected a fault. The part will be replaced under warranty. He has taken the pictures required for the same.

ON the other Hand AUdi has stepped up the game. In thier latest service offering, they offer free pickup and drop of the Vehicle and a courtasy car while you car is in the workshop as a goodwill gesture. Have not tried out this service yet, nor do i know which car they shall provide for the duration of the service, but Audi is really taking pains to put itself one notch higher in the customers eyes and differenciate itself not only from the Superb and the passat but also the Benz , Beemers and the Volvso. I like
