Okay, here are the day light pics. Had to drive her to the chembur workshop. The Tinting and polishing is still pending. Will get delivery for the same tomorrow.

A few things i noticed. Car stop and give you way, or let you over take a lot more than before. Most don't try crazy stunts anymore. That's good.
The rickshaws are more of a pain than ever. Period.

There was this point of time ( like four day back ) when i used to get pangs by seeing people in their benzes Bimmers and Land Rovers. That does not happen anymore. The car's handling is good enough for me at least in city.

She is Big. Almost as big as the A6. Any more bigger and she would be a pain. However this dimension is good. Gives her a flowing line and presense ( as if the LED's wern't good enough for the latter ). People look, some lovingly , some longingly.

But the best part is, people give way.

Some daytime pics as requested to whet the appetite. Seeing the picture you can see how large the car actually is for it's segment.

The lower part of the bumper sticks out a bit, further than the sensors. Should not be an issue, but enhances the aggressive looks. A nice touch. I like the attention to detail given to the car. Inside out.

I also did see the older Audi A4. I still like its looks. It's not that large but looks quite sporty and decent , without being too loud. It just misses out a bit on the aggression.

Thats her in the Garage. A tight fit. Which is why we dint consider the heavily discounted A6 even as an option.

congrats shes a beauty. speaking of the size take a look at the a4 and a6 parked outside the showroom everyday. thats a perfect comparison to show the minimal size difference between both.

They give way because she looks like a politician's car Top ministers generally roam our streets in white coloured high end German cars. With black glasses + VIP numberplate, no cop will ever stop you. Guaranteed!

I'd recomend the Bagel shop @ bandra
LOVE that place. Perfect for sunday morning chilling with bagels + hazelnut coffee.

I don't mind an expressway run post that though. If Sahil or someone else gives company in the 520 , we should make for a pretty picture for the shutter bugs
I have a feeling Sahil will get his 525 and smoke all of us.

yummmmm...

i know the immorality bits and the laws about leching and salivating about other peoples wives and girlfriends.... do the same laws apply for their cars??

i'm very much a beemer man (even though a c and an s reside in the immediate family) BUT and heres the really important 'but'(!) audi does a gorgeous job of marrying the aggresiveness of the beemers with the elegance of the mercs.

i love your ride dude and i have to admit - i am more than just a little envious...

enjoy her my friend and i know you'll look after her!

stay sane and drive safe.

Across its model range.

They are still exclusive. And they are still all show stoppers .

And i'm in love!

i agree. thats the whole point of buying it.

I was trying to be modest and not mention it, but you stole the words out of my mouth.

It actually would be good to see the 520d pit against the A4 TDi & C220CDi, would be quite a tough fight for all. I'm sure one of the auto mags will carry this comparo soon enough.

BMW will cry foul. And I suppose they'll have their way, I mean they advertise quite regularly in every publication don't they?

Thats one hot looking A4. Saw a silver one this morning and man... it has road presence, those necklace lights look out of the world and make it look real mean!

They did pit them together. But the 320D Vs C 220 and the A4. Apparently the A4 came out tops as an over all buy for people looking for a car in this segment. However, its not anywhere close as far as the Dynamics and the sheer muscle is concerned. ( I still like the handling well enough thank you. )

About Sahil's 525. I propose a change of venue. Lets do something more realistic. Colaba to Bandra in the late evening perhaps?
