Navin this one is simply too good. Great timing too... I was just playing Rhianna's umbrella song in my car the other day.

The day

Sorry for yesterday's absence, here I am.

And so after the yard, all I did was wait. And wait through some tough times. Well, tough is relative.

Every morning I'd try to get a cab from Meru.

Dear Customer, thank you for calling Meru. India's premiere cab service.
Tututututooootootooooo, tutututututututooooooo

This was my shower music everyday. It was perfectly timed. I'd call and put it on speaker-phone and by the time my shower was over and I had dried myself, it was time to order a cab.

Sometimes I wouldn't get a cab on the phone and I'd take a yellow-black. Sigh. That's when you knew that it was summer.

Anyway, the day arrived when the car was ready.

Ready?
Yes ready.

And so I rushed out of the office, got into the worst, dirtiest smelliest cab on earth and I went to Autobahn.

I sat in the cab as the hot air from the engine blew all over my hairy legs smiling from ear to ear.

Strolled into the Autobahn showroom went up to the lady and said it.

Hi I'm here to pick up my car.
(Go on, ask me what car it is. Go on lady, ask me.)
What car is it Sir? (YES!)
It's a Superb. Ignore my grin.

Got my free briefing, my free chocolates, my free Ganesha idol and my free coconut.

Time to roll!

Then I saw this.

And my mind said Holy Crap.

It was time to call someone at Skoda.
Sam, the umbrella thing is a clincher. I remember seeing some pictures of the latest Rolls with a burgundy interior and it had an umbrella in the door.
I thought it was the ultimate luxury statement. I also remember thinking how my wife would love it.
I would have bought it for the umbrella!!!!

Sam, why is your headlight washer metallic? As compared to white on the pic above.
Someone else in my building has a white superb and his headlight washer is also white. My car is silver, and mine's metallic as well. Do you know why this is?
BTW, the oil burners come without the spoiler

May be I don’t know you personally, but seeing on Tbhp for this long, reading thro your umpteen threads, seeing you pics, I still can’t digest the fact of you having settled for a 'White' car.

I enjoyed reading your buying experience, loved the part where you checked for the umbrella.

Congratulations!!

I guess they don't keep that constant. Both our white & silver Superbs have body colored headlamp washer lids.

Why did they not provide headlight washers to begin with?

My 5 year old Octy has them!
