The Superb Sam

What a great write up!!!!

When I read "paisa vasool" , " If I were Mafiosi.."....felt like.

The way your purchase was detailed was completely honest....straight from the heart. On the lighter side you probably went for the Superb for the sake of the umbrella..As far as I know, only the Rolls Royce and its peers have the umbrella as a standard accessory.

I myself own a "cheap" skoda Fabia1.2 petrol(to borrow you line from cheap Passat) and happy with it despite the barrage of faults credited to skoda.

eagerly awaiting for your new posts

I spent this wet cold Munich Friday morning in office, reading noting else but your entire thread. Off for lunch now, hoping to see/read more Yeti magic.

Congrats on the buy. Wishing you 'Viel Glück' with your 'Auto'.

I am sure your thread would make many think twice before spending 20 odd lakhs on any other car. Keep writing.

Nice Write-up Sam. Just out of curiosity, what profession are you in?

Excellent writeup Sam! Laughed a lot with your umbrella wala thingy Congratulations on your purchase and I really hope your car will provide you with all the joy you need. Need more 'backseat' review from you. Also does the display for the back shows you only the clock and the external temperature?

To say frankly, even though i might look at the BHP and the CC etc. of the car, the umbrella bit also impressed me Kinda Puts in the league of Rolls and Maybach

Goa is great for a fun bachelor party!!!!
Or is the Yeti getting married there???
Any announcement would have had all TBHP members flying, driving, racing to Goa!
Are congratulations in order, Sam?

I also have no film on my car. The sun falling on you without it being uncomfortable (because of the A/C) is the a really nice feeling.

Of course it does. But I see almost every car in India 'filmed'.

A fantastic, well thought out feature.

Not clear - what's a notchback? And raising what windshield?

To give you a fair idea, it has 2 options. You can open the boot like a sedan and like a hatchback.
