If I get 195/60 R15 Aceleres around ~3.4K I should still be happy. However, if the delta between that and, lets say a BFG of the same size is not more than 500 bucks, I'll go in for the BFG.

Just FYI, BFG in 195/60 R15 is 3750/-. And yes Apollo's in that size for 3.4k would be a good deal.

Raghav
Thanks.
I am contemplating putting the Yoko Adrive 195/65 R14. got a deal for Rs.12600 for 4 tyres from a Yoko dealer in Khan Market (Delhi). (thats Rs.3150 per tyre)
As for the alloy, tho I havent checked it.. the dealer told me all alloys are either 5.5 or 6J which are ok for all width tyres.

I think they're grey market tyres. Youc an go in for them but only if you're getting a really good deal.

You're welcome! Which dealer in Khan Market? Grewal? Yeah 5.5/6J are fine for 195's.

Hi,
I have upgraded to 195/60R15, with alloy wheels from league hypersilver colour. The set of 5 costed me 13500 for tyres (Bridgestone Potenza GIII) and alloys 23200.

My +2 Upsize

I'm getting 16s and a GREAT set of Michelin Energy MXV8s in 205/55 R 16

I don't think folks advise the 5mm of extra sidewall but I'm not entirely convinced that they'll rub. Anyone tried 205/55 16 on a Swift before?

Please avoid 205/60-14 and get either 195/65-14 or upsize to 15".

yokohama a drives for my swift!

hey guys
Got Yokohama A drive 195/65 R14 tyres for my Swift vxi - a change from the 185/65 R14 that I had earlier on.
Must say.. the improvement in ride quality is phenomenal!! Not to forget the reduction in noise levels!
I got a set of 4 tyres for 3200 each from Khan Market - Grewals.

However, now I dont know what tyre pressure to maintain??
For 185/70 the company advises 29 psi... but now how do i calculate the right pressure for my new tyres?? anyone...??

Whats the pressure in Manual for 165 IIRC its 33 psi, similarly whats the pressure for 185? Then calculate the same changes, for 195's. Zxi owners should have this info in the manual or on the door stickers.

Can i assume that 29 psi was recommended by dealer?
