It is good except for a weak sidewall. Its city / highway performance is simply great.

AGBENNY - For how many km was your older set of Bridgestone HT driven for a complete tread wear out and in how many years ?

In UAE there is a law if the tyres are more than 5 yrs old they fail the car at annual registration card passing test.

Most people dont do it but its a good idea to rotate all 5 tyres and then on replacement send the best one to spare.

2nd set buy only four. Rotate four.

3rd set buy 5 again and rotate all five.

I'm afraid I'm no tyre specialist, but I had been very happy with the BS Duelers as such. Despite that, since I was stuck with one different tyre, I decided to make that 2 - the brand being Ceat Czar.

Do you find a difference in the ride from when all 4 were the same ?

Front end shod with Ceats sounds a little noisier at 100+ km/h speeds. Otherwise I don't find any difference in grip or ride comfort, if that's what you're asking - but then I rarely test the limits of my car. So honestly, on a turn at 120 km/h, I really don't know, and don't want to find out, whether the Duelers win or the Czars.

All tyres are new Nikhil, except the one Dueler at the rear that's run ~10k km and is ~1 year old - that too, run only as the rear wheel.

Up front, one of the Czars is ~1 year old (bought then but not driven), and the other was bought recently - and all have now already run >5k km since fitment.

Would you please suggest any other configuration?

From the pics put up, there is quite a difference in the tread depth between the used tyres and the brand new tyre. It would certainly be safer to put the new tyres at the rear.

A Scorpio is rather quite incabale of a turn even at 100 Km ph and should never be attempted.

Safe driving is best driving.

I feel difference in tread pattern does change the ride a bit but such things would be apparent only on good highways at cruising speeds on on our Delhi roads where you are lucky if you are doing 60 kmph

^^ Are you concerned of the ride or the handling due to different tread patterns on a Scorpio? I am a bit confused, could you clarify?

Yes, I have always been tought this theory by TOYO engineers and other automotive experts that all four radial tyres must be the same tread and must be replaced as a set of four together.

This is what happens in the Middle East or the western world and here too unless its a 1992 model mazda 323 and the Omani owner wants a quick fix with a Chinese tyre for 10 Riyals ( Rs. 1200 odd ).
