This vehicle belonged to a person I Know ( In Pune ) , I have worked on this vehicle ( dont want to discuss price here

) Its been recently shifted /sold out of Pune . It was lying with some mech for a long time .

Important points

1) this is a series 3 vehicle not even a defender ( let alone Discovery ) AFAIK its a 76 ( or near by model ) this one was originally from Solapur

2) this one had major engine problems , AFAIK it was towed from Pune , anyone who wants it should do some road testing . ( let it start without smoke --in first place )

3) Left mudguard was badly damaged ( seems repaired )

4) its re coated now for sure

5) third gear slips ( when I last drove it )

6) It had a spare engine with it , the engine restoration part seems unlikely as claimed in the ad

7) there was a hydrolic winch ( damaged ) with the Pune owner

Some advts that I am browsing through for old cars located at Raipur:
- A black Fiat 1100 SS that appears to be in a state of neglect but original from the pictures posted. Cannot say about its interiors.
Fiat 1100 here for Sale in just Rs. 75000/- - Raipur - Cars
-A low bonnet Willys with the side valve engine but with a Solex carburettor and a newer Hurricane engine compatible oil filter. The red needled speedo is of VDO make from the high bonnet CJ3B's (LHD's).

Now move to Pune!

Here is a Willys jeep that the seller says is restored to WW II condition. Adding a pick-axe, shovel and some number on the bonnet makes it fight the WW II.

This car has been around for quite some time. Online as well as offline. Nothing great about it, interiors are redone carp.I posted pictures of engine bay which had original Magnetic Marelli Ignition Coil and Brake Fluid resiorvior, surprise surprise.

This car has been wrongly converted to run on LPG. It is Orissa registered and I presume was bought for Rs. 13,000.

I can only say these ads are getting more and more hilarious with each new one. Their descriptions, being far from true make good reading and provide comic relief, atleast, to me.
