if it is a genuine MM LOWLITE tourer (not the ones which are saloons cut and made tourer with an add on RC of a genuine tourer car) it will fetch 2 lakhs if it is well restored.
actually there is a morris minor tourer (genuine one)running condition with tax arrears in KERALA for sale, the guy is asking 1.25 lakhs which is more than its worth

A steep price. I have this photo of the car, I don't recall who sent it to me. Perhaps it was Stampro.

Yes it would've been Stampro- he'd posted the very same pic. here (standard cars thread) as well, but had said that this car was in Madurai, and a one-owner one.

girish- as someone had said, price is a rather subjective matter, mutually agreed between the buyer and seller.
And often it happens that the buyer quotes a certain price believeing that there is a break-even point between his price and what the seller offers in return, ie. somewhere in the middle.

BUT from my little experience, I would say that you could start by quoting half of the price. Then if he agrees to come down, go up a little higher and try to settle it there.

I was recently informed that I got an offer of 70k for my pennant from a stranger, who'd visited our township! Of course it's a different issue that I don't want to part with it- unless I get a similar car in similar condition- for 1/2 the price I paid for mine!

Sad to see myself posting this:(

The Willyboy so caringly restored is up for adoption.

Reason: The previous owner is so damn enthusiastic about its outcome, now fears that this Willyboy will see the same old rusty future and fate after him. Wants to part with it to a new caretaker.

The only missing link - Front grille is being sent by UBS sir himself in the coming days

Offered at 3.75 lacs and is negotiable as per the owner.

Any passionate buyer please let me know, will part with the owners number.

I gave Sanjay the Mark 11 work shop manual for him to photo copy which he will return to me.

Any point in having him make up two copies?

Please let me know.

Well if he is making a copy anyways a spare copy for me cant hurt. If it isnt an inconvenience do ask for another copy, I shall gladly reimburse him for the same. One never knows when it would come in handy for anyone.
