| Found this parked on the roadside today with a "For Sale" board on it, left open for anyone to inspect. So we inspected it - please excuse the bad picture quality as HTC is not really known for the quality of the cameras on their phones (also this is probably the first time I've used it seriously):                    |

It is RHD (and therefore not registered here) and an import. The price is Dhs.15k (Rs.1.9 lakhs), negotiable. Question is, how do you get this across to India? You cant prove ownership for 2 years in DXB as you cannot register it here! The Bill of Lading is over 3 years old, though. The car is owned by an Indian (who was born/brought up here and has no real connection in India except his passport from the Indian Consulate), he's game to send it across if you're willing to get it cleared. Besides that there are other quesitons. This car cant be 1956 because the MkII came out in 1960 or 1961 and this looks more like a MkII than an MkI (I could be wrong because I'm not expert in these matters). Last edited by Steeroid : 17th December 2008 at 15:55. | ||
