Gogi I think you are confusing the MRF regd car with this MRA regd car.

The picture was sent to me 7/8 years ago by Solanki. He clearly mentioned at that time the car was for sale.

VINTAGE GM parts TROVE.
One guy in South Tamil Nadu claims he has a huge collection of Genuine GM parts N.O.S(new old stock).
It contains engine,body, trim,parts for GM models of sixties like BUICK,Cadillac,Chevrolet,Pontiac.
He will sell as one lot only.
If somebody is genuinely interested PM me for details

This car of Mr.Dossa's was the limousine at Raj Bhavan in Madras .It was used by visiting dignitaries like Pandit Nehru

This is supposed to be a 1966-67 model, 1300 cc.

I understand these bumpers (known as "butterfly bumpers"?) were fitted specifically for the US market? I know of another 66-67 model with such bumpers bought by a friend here, also from B'lore.

Yes I am. Although he'd requested me to refrain from disclosing that he'd bought that car!

He even gave me a ride in it once; uses it semi-regularly he said.

There was an Ad in yesterdays hindi daily "Hindustan"(Delhi edition) for 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe and 1928 Fiat (i suppose 520/521c) coach for 15 lacs...

A true hybrid '55/56 fiat (its got something of more or less every model of fiat you could know of!- and a bit of amby as well! ) up for sale at a ridiculous price of.......50k!!

'only thing I find interesting in it is the number!
