I guess there is even a 348 gtb and a 308 and a 355 for sale in delhi, all the cars are red. i heard this from my friend. any idea as to how much these are goin for????

OK guys, please pay close attention- because this will be on FIRST ASK FIRST SERVE basis as Ive quite a lot of people wanting this kinda car!

Today afternoon while I was out on some personal work, I got a call from my mech. who got a call from our friendly local scrapwala, informing him that he was getting a "centerlight" fiat (ie. '57 elegant) today by 3pm.

So I immediately(!) started out from where I was & reached the scrapyard at around 2.30...later joined by my mech.

We waited until about 3.10-3.15, no sign of the car. Meanwhile he had some personal work & wanted to leave, so did I.

Then luckily just as we were leaving the area we spotted the car being brought in, which to our surprise, turned out to be a black 1955 FIAT MILLECENTO, not an elegant!!

Unfortunately I'm afraid I couldnt take pics. today as there was some heavy police checking going on very close-by, cops were stopping all 2-wheelers & checking their belongings too.....no idea if something has happened in that area!
Therefore my mech. told me not to take out my camera & draw attention today, we didnt even hang around there too long, just took a quick look at the car from outside, under the bonnet. 'looks quite original, missing some side-trims, has most of the original stuff intact including the rims, smaller size headlights, original wheel & horn button(!!), air-filter etc. so may be an ideal project. Body looks tired but salvageable enough. Engine may start although doesnt seem to've run for a long time.

We'll be going down there again tomorrow for a more detailed look so pics. then if the cops arent present again. He also said he'll be getting the papers if anyone's interested in buying the car.

So those of you seriously interested do contact me ASAP, by pm or email or ph. or SMS...as you choose, but contact me ASAP!
