Is this your sedan? Shot in a rally in Pune a couple of years ago.

It is indeed a coupe, I believe that is what Harit was referring to, subject to correction.

Car looks very clean, must have had a good history.

Now that car in front of the Opel I am willing to bet is is a Jag Mark IV ( either one of the three 1.5,2.5 or 3.5 ) what do you think

I am leaning towards it being a 1.5

That is indeed a 1.5 my dear Sir. visual exterio difference between the `1.5 and the 2.5 / 3.5 are the parking lights on the front wings, 1.5 had the Lucas chrome fishtails that are visible here whereas the 2.5 / 3.5 had them inbulit within the wing and would be painted

moreover this is a post 47 1.5 as the earlier cars had a panel between the bottom of the boot and the spare tyre cover. On this car you can see there is none

That little knob under teh gas filler is a pull for activating the reserve tank nifty aint it

The body on the 2.5/3.5 is also larger apart from the engine obviously

This is not a Sedan, but a coupe.
My dad had a one owner Opel Record Olympia R 3 (the full title) which he gave me. That is a 2 door sedan.
This is a Record 1968 coupe. Lovely shape, good condition.
Now this car is complete, but when I got her she was missing the side lights and number plate lights. Got them from Germany with great difficulty.
Caravans were rare, I know of one which was in Mumbai, MRF registered and crashed by moviewallas. But of this model 4 door sedans were quite abundant. There is somewhere a heavily modified Delhi car on this forum, it was red in colour.
Will keep an eye open for wheelcaps.

That Jag is indeed a 1.5, owned by a collector from Bombay who has a host of cars. He keeps most of his cars in his Lonavala Hotel and no they are not open to everyone to see.

Well his collection is well known in the Bombay collector circles and almost always present in full splendour at all Mumbai rallys, but how many of you know that the latest additions to the collection are a 1962 select (A former taxi now beautifully restored) and a 54 Millecento (up for restoration).

So grab your Classic Fiats while they are still available.
