Tata Zica: 3 new name options revealed

The Zika epidemic has forced Tata Motors to re-think its new car’s name before it is formally launched. As a part of the 'Fantastico Name Hunt', the company had announced a crowd sourcing activity for all internet users to suggest a new name for the Zica. The company claims to have received more than 37,000 name suggestions and has narrowed it down to 3 - Civet, Tiago and Adore.

Civet is a native Asian or African carnivorous mammal. Tiago is a Portuguese / Spanish name for a baby boy. Adore quite literally means to love and respect someone.

The company has left the option to the general public to choose from one of these names by voting here. One of the contestants whose selection matches the final name stands a chance to win the car (if located within India), or a reward of equal value, if located outside India.
