That's some good eye for detail. I suggest you shoot one more email to them threatening to post these images & experience in facebook / twitter etc and also provide a link to your post.

Seriously?! Am sure you'll be convinced that there are systems lousier than TATA customer care, if you choose to proceed.

Maybe search for pre-owned example?

Re: Tata Tiago : Official Review

Ok So after weeks of putting it off, went to the TASS for the update, it took 15 mins in all for the update, when inquired about the update it was said that some cars were facing issues with the stereo where in it would turn itself on even when the car was off and would drain the battery. Luckily wasn't one of those.. Incase you haven't got update done pls do go

Re: Tata Tiago : Official Review

Today I got change to drive my friends Tiago XT diesel. The NVH, Suspension setup and power available in tiago is impressive.
But in the first go I was unable to start the car, even after putting key inside slot and turning it to the ignition was not starting the car. There was some red light continuously blinking on the dash So I removed key, pressed unlock button and inserted the key again to start the engine.

Is there any problem with lock system/immobilezer of tiago as it doesn't detect original key? Has anybody else also faced same issues?

Just the immo at work, nothing to worry. Sometimes the vehicles are calibrated to auto lock after a few minutes of inactivity. In such situations one has to unlock the vehicle again and shut the immo

Re: Tata Tiago : Official Review

These images have been shared by a Tiago Owner in ATOM Club Group, Facebook.

As you can see, the Left Pillars are white

And, the Right one's are blacked out
Tata Tiago : Official Review-fb_img_1488127278097.jpg

Sheer stupidity from Tata Motors & the Dealer. Not just this car, have seen some 2-3 Tiago's in my city with Either Body coloured Pillars (Both Side) or just on one side. I don't know what the concernered people are smoking. Things like these makes one loose Interest & confidence in brand.

Is Tata expecting customers to get those wraps fitted/removed based on his/her preference ?

Just like they say "It happens only in India", I will say with confidence, "It happens only with Tata".

I would go one level above and say, "It happens only with Indian manufacturers". I was exactly in the same situation 1.4 years back, when I went to Mahindra dealer's stockyard to inspect the new brand TUV alloted to me.

Right side B pillar came with black cladding
Tata Tiago : Official Review-right-side-b-pillar-came-black-cladding.jpg

Left side B pillar came without black cladding

When I informed the sales head about the missing B pillar black cladding, he assured me that this would be fixed in the stockyard PDI. Fortunately the black vinyl wrap was not in stock and they had to allot me a new car. I couldn't be much happy.

Re: Tata Tiago : Official Review

A classic case of the left hand not knowing what the right one is doing?

In the above cases, it's like workers on the left side of the assembly line did not know what ones on the right were doing!

I still haven't given up on Tiago yet !
The car has been damaged in transit, and has been repainted by the dealer.

Compare the paint shade and metallic sparkles in both adjacent panels and you would know. This kind of damage is common during transit and dealers fix it and push them to unsuspecting customers.
