Well, there is a lot that come along with the word setup. Moving to a rally type tyre is one, changing te suspension geometry with the caster and camber setups is also very important and acheivable easily. Toe adjustments and also the right setup for the shocks. Just like a real car, the changes done will get your car to perform the way you like.

basically now that the engine has set you can tune it for your purposes.
Its running pretty fine. OS A3 is the right plug, spot on for our conditions and my fuel. No flooding or over rich symptoms. Ran another 2 tanks early morning today.

Adjusted the idle as per Mura - perfect. The truck brakes without cutting the engine. Braking feel is not all that great. I remember the Hellfire's brakes gave good feedback. Any tips to better it. I dont want to play with the linkages without proper guidance.

The Hellfire and all Truggies/buggies have a center diff, so braking will be more composed and in line because you can adjust front - rear bias.Your truck AFAIK does not have a center diff so it will be a bit jittery and mostly will be like a switch - either no brakes or it will lock up.

If you spill fuel on the brake discs they will be very poor, so clean the discs using sand paper if you suspect you have fuel on them.

Try to drive with minimal braking and use the throttle to steer out of corners.

You can go to ModalArt in Select city walk in Saket. Or you can go to HPI delhi distributor. If you want I can PM you the details.

hey ppl

Happy to c the forums back running.
I have managed to save up a little cash and am looking to get an electric rc.
Since HPI are now in india could anyone tell me the rates for the rc cars.

I have heard e-firestorm 10t is a good car for bashing n racing. I dont think i could afford the e-firestorm flux right now. But is it possible to upgrade the e-firestorm to brushless motors.

Anybody own a e-firestorm 10t, what is it good for n what isnt it gud for????

Awaiting replies thanks
Austin

You will also have to replace the ESC and go for a better power source, so makes sense to start with the flux. You always have the power at your disposal rather than get bored soon. Thats my policy.

I just got a Hobao Hyper 12 Mini ST.

Hobao Racing - Hyper 12 Mini ST RTR Radio Control Truggy

Planning to fit a .21 engine and see how fast it can go. Expecting 80-90Kmph.

Also got a XRAY NT1 with a RB Racing V15.

Mura, how do you get to know about these makers like Hobao? The chassis design looks very very similar to a Ofna truggy(not sure of the name).

XRay is popular in the Pro circles. Where did you get them? It would be great to see a full list of your rides on the thread with images if its ok with you.

After looking at the website, its exactly the same, body, paint everything.

Mura, thinking about this similarity and another one you pointed earlier about a Losi buggy, is it possible to get the popular brands in Singapore from the China/Taiwan makers?

Why should I pay a premium for the brand name alone when I can get the exact piece at a lesser cost? Anyways we dont get much support on after sales service, warranty etc

I said the HPI Trophy was same as Hotbodies/Sacker NOT Losi.

Ofna is a US based Distributor for Hobao and Hong Nor.

Hong Nor is Known as Jammin.

As i said the HPI Trophy or Sacker as it is know in Singapore/Malaysia/Taiwan can be got for approx Rs.12,000.

Mura- you seem to be on a buying spree. Eagerly awaiting pics of your entire RC collection. It must be one of the biggest in India. Do you have any monster trucks?
What do you think of the revo platinum edition?

Ajo - How is the TT running. Have you managed to get a good video?

Yes i do have 2 Monster Trucks - The Losi LST2 and The Revo.

I do like the Revo as a Fun Truck but for high speed handling you cant beat a Truggy like the Losi 8ight.

The LST2 i have with a RB928 and the truck absolutely is a Blast.

I know you can make the Revo handle better but too much work and parts involved.

For The Revo Platinum you need a starter box and the Revo specific ones are a ripoff at 100$ +
