Jeeps/Gypsy's: All through Army Auctions: What, When, Where, How?

Guys
There is an auction in Pune on the 16th and 22nd April which has a few gypsies.
I am going in again this time with a few friends and looking to pick up 3 or 4 MG410's (the 20 years old gypsy with the 1L engine) . I am not looking to pick up MG413s his time.

We are already 3 people in our group (Myself, Shibu, a friend from Pune). I am looking for 1 or possibly 2 members who are willing to pick up Mg410's . These vehicles are in Pune.

Plan of action would be like I did last time.

I am attaching the details of the vehicles on auction on these 2 days as downloaded from the mstc site.

there is a lot of 1 Gypsy 2002 in the 22 April auction, i think someone here should be interested.

Anyone interested in teaming up with me to pick up any of these vehicles need to confirm by eod sunday (4 april 2010) . I am looking to pick up 7 gypsies and 2 jeeps for my entire group.

I could be interested in the 2002 gypsy for the auction on 22.4.2010. Is that on your list as well?

Anyone else from the forum planning to bid for that gypsy?

We are all geared up for this auction .

As of now there are 6 guys including me who are interested in picking up MG 410 maruti gypsy(1991 to 1996 models) - me (nagpur), Mr Kumar, Mr vishal, Mr Ronnie (from pune), Mr Sanjay Kale (from mumbai) and Shibu (from kerala/dubai)

we will try to pick up LOT NO 015/KVD/VEH and LOT NO 016/KVD/VEH which have total 7 gypsies.

I am looking for 1 more person interested in a 1 litre engine gypsy to complete the team. We will then pick up 2 lots 4+3 = 7 vehicles.

1 guy picking up 3 bullets 350cc (Mr Kumar from Pune)

2 or 3 guys picking up an mm550 (Mr kale from mumbai, ronnie's friend from goa and lugnut(team bhp) although i have not heard a confirmation from Lugnut.

we will try to pick up LOT NO 042/KVD/VEH if we want 3 mm550's or LOT NO 043/KVD/VEH if we want 2 mm550's.

1 guy probably picking up the lone cj3b (Fazal saab from hyderabad) - but this cj is clubbed with a matador and a maruti omni which i am not sure if anyone will pick up so we'll have to see what to do about fazal saab's vehicle.

1 guy interested in the 2002 gypsy (married to speed from team bhp) - but i wish he could come down from delhi to inspect this vehicle on 15th April as I have not been able to get a first hand info on the condition of this vehicle yet.

All the guys excluding me,fazal saab,shibu and married2speed are sleeping members of team bhp who have got in touch with me after i posted my intention of going in for these vehicles.

I am again attaching the inventory of the vehicles on auction.
We are planning our final inspection on 15th April.

Next is paying the scrap dealer a token deposit amount (appx 20% of the final expected price) and then sitting with the scrap dealer on 16th during the online bidding.

Just checked the list (excel file attached). There's no mention of Royal Enfield's in the list. Its just Hero Honda's 100CC???

Sleeping would be an understatement - I guess "seasonal" would be appropriate for, spring up at the drop of the word, "gypsy" and disappear the minute the euphoria dies

I'd love to make it to Pune, but I'm not sure if that would be possible going by the current work schedule. However, I'll be in touch with you over the phone again and we'll speak more on this.

OT: Had a question. If I buy an Army Auction Gypsy, can I get it registered in Mumbai bcos the Army auction vehicle would not be BSIV compliant?
